"On the occasion of a family wedding, this was our first trip to Holland. The Crescent Dr. Cottage was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 3 adult friends. The home was well appointed, a perfect amount of space, 3 full bathrooms. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch with a sunrise view of Lake Macatawa and 2 wonderful dinners grilling out back on the newly-installed flagstone patio, which actually had seating for 20!, as well as a lovely space for an evening fire. We utilized the Heinz Waterfront Walkway along Lake Macatawa which started right at the end of Crescent Dr and provided scenic access to quaint downtown Holland. The garage at the home provided ample storage for our 5 bikes and 2 kayaks. We didn't even need to worry about beach towels or chairs as these were all provided. The bonus was meeting our sweet hostess, Norma!"

"We are a family of six and we also invited Grandma and Grandpa to join us for the week. We were all very comfortable and had a great week. The cottage was really well equipped with everything we possibly could have wanted. It was very clean and maintained. You could tell that this was someones home that they cared very much for and wanted to make visitors feel welcome.
The area is really fun if you enjoy nature and a sandy Lake Michigan beach. We saw deer every day and watched two beavers work in the stream all week. Turtles, frogs, birds, complete with a beautiful sunrise over mist rising from the water every morning, it was nature at its best. Some of us boated and some of us walked to the beach every day and during the week had the entire beach to our selves. Even though the WiFi kept us connected to the outside world, we really felt disconnected from our usual busy pace of life. From our youngest to our oldest, we all had a wonderful time."

"Myself and my 12yr old son came here to stay for a mom/son weekend away. It was so perfect! Cozy and very clean. Decor is very nice, not dated and not cluttered. Loved the front porch in the morning drinking my coffee looking at the morning sun glistening on the lake. The only negative I would have would be the mattress, it was very hard, not super comfortable, but he rest of the place and beautiful Lake Michigan made up for it. Close to everything....Holland State Park Beach, downtown Holland, bike trails. Looking forward to coming back again!"
