  • Awesome rental

"Such a cute, convenient place! Ideal location for beaches and activities!! Loved the bike rental around the corner and state beach down the street! Tunnel park was also a fav for my 2 year old and only a few miles away. House is just right for a getaway and had a lot of things already provided. We really enjoyed our stay!"

  • 50th Birthday Celebration

"I rented this cabin for a girls' week in celebration of my youngest sister's 50th Birthday. It was absolutely perfect! We loved the amenities, which included an outdoor hot tub and a fire pit. While the cabin can sleep 13, we only had 6. There was plenty of room to roam! Everything was provided, except food and personal items, including an abundant supply of bedding and towels. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pots and pans. I will definitely rent this cabin again, and maybe I will bring my dog, since it is a dog-friendly rental. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone."

  • One of a kind

"Our week at this house has quickly become our favorite time of the summer. This year was our third visit and my family looks forward to it now every year. We share the house with friends and location can not be better for children and adults a like. We can be on the beach from sun up to sundown. Babies can nap while everyone else plays because we are literally ON the beach. There is a crib, pack n play, high chair...everything we need. We can cook and watch kids play from the kitchen. At night when the little ones are sleeping we can sit outside and enjoy life knowing they are safe inside. I can't think of one "con". Is it hot in the summer...yes... you are at the beach! Do you need to buy groceries and toiletries... yes. This is not a hotel - it's a beautiful house to live in for a week and it's AMAZING. The owner is always accessible and often right next door. He's not only a warm, easy going person but very helpful and concerned about anything not working properly. The house is in a gated safe community and the beach is NEVER over crowded. You get what you pay for and here you pay for a private clean beach with a cute town nearby for food and shopping, fudge and ice cream! Enjoy your stay. We sure do."

  • Wonderful Home and Wonderful Area

"We are just finishing the week of July 19th and are sad to be leaving. This home is absolutely beautiful and the owners who live nearby do everything possible to maintain this lovely property and to make your stay delightful. Our family of 3 generations stayed here and from the grandparents to the youngest 2 year old, we all loved our stay. I don't think you could find a nicer home for a summer vacation. It is close to the state park, the marina and to downtown Holland. The owners go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy their home and your vacation. Even the bikes are very nice. Thanks Bruce and Vicky for a pleasant stay at your rental home and we hope to be back next summer!"

Holland Travel Tips

Holland Vacation Rentals

Have you ever wanted to visit Holland? To see the amazing Dutch architecture and eat the wonderful Dutch cuisine? For most of us, the plane ticket alone would be more than we could afford, but there is a way to see Holland without a plane trip over the ocean . . . or a passport.

Holland in Our Own Backyard

Holland, Michigan was settled in 1847 by Dutch Calvinist separatists, and that Dutch influence lives on today in many ways, including the Holland Museum, which shows the city's history. If you choose to visit Holland in May, there is an annual Tulip Time Festival, which began in 1930. But whatever you decide to do in this beautiful city, make sure you figure out the Holland lodging first. You wouldn't want to be stuck in a small hotel room—especially if you are going to take your whole family. One possible solution to the hotel room is Michigan lake houses. These gorgeous vacation rental properties have all the amenities that you find at home including a full-sized kitchen and multiple bedrooms—a must if you have kids who need to be separated for your own sanity.

Holland Can Also Make for a Great Romantic Getaway

Or, if you want to leave your kids behind, Holland would make for a fabulous romantic getaway for just you and your sweetheart. There are vacation homes available on in all shapes and styles. Instead of a large home with many bedrooms, look into a small home that is just big enough for the two of you. Cook a romantic dinner and eat by candlelight. Sit out on the deck watching the sunset as you sip wine. You can even get a bungalow with a hot tub. Whatever would make your romantic weekend perfect, you can find in a vacation home.
