  • Hall Family Vacation

"Our family spent a week at Golden Sands and we have already booked for next year. The house was perfect and gave us plenty of space. We love the location because it is central to the dunes, trails, Hart and Pentwater. The golf course is very well kept. We enjoyed many rounds of golf as part of the rental package. We even extended our stay in the area so we could participate in the annual Glow Bash - what a great time. The clubhouse at the course is cozy and serves great food and drinks. Even if you don't stay at the house you should check out the clubhouse and course - well worth it. The best part of they stay for us was meeting new friends. We can't say enough about Bill, Alicia, Will, Drew, Alley, Izzy and Mulligan. They are a great family and wonderful hosts. We can't wait to visit again."

  • Great Stay in Downtown Grand Haven

"The rental unit is immaculately kept, decorated nicely in a modern theme and ideally located in downtown Grand Haven. It was a great property and if we are fortunate enough to stay in Grand Haven again, we will certainly repeat."

  • Corner Porch: Great Location; Great Restoration

"This is a review for The Corner Porch, where we stayed with three of our children (12, 15 and 20) in July and were one of the first renters after Tom and Eve opened the property. The property is a 100 year old house of character (some floors that slope and some doors that don't shut all the way). We loved it. The location is fantastic, and the restoration is great on the inside and nearly complete on the outside. We compare it to two other houses our family rented during the week---this one was far cleaner and superior. Furniture is complete and comfortable. We enjoyed the wrap around porch especially and when Tom and Eve saw us there they stopped by to say hello. We told them the house had everything we needed, but couldn't find a can opener. Later that day a can opener was delivered. The small patio in back has a grill. The patio area is not very private, but it certainly is nice to have. Overall it was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay."

  • Grear Little place in a cute little town

"We try to book this cottage ecery year. Been going 3 years now for nice little vacations from Chicago. The cottage is very nicely decorated, and has all you need to have a great time.(even bikes, childrens toys, etc). The town of Spring LAke is cute, we always go down to the VanderMill Cider mill, this year they added a stage and have great outdoor concerts. For more "hustle" we go into Grand Haven. All in all, this place has a good amount of space in a good location to have a nice MI weekend."
