"We spent an incredible week in this truly lovely home away from home. The home has everything you need for a great beach vacation including beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and boogie boards. Location is perfect just above City Beach with a short walk down a couple of flights of stairs. Honore was so thoughtful with providing goodies to roast s'mores and we enjoyed a quaint evening around the fire pit. We were able to walk out to the pier and jog up and down the channel on a daily basis. We look forward to coming back next year."

"Myself and my 12yr old son came here to stay for a mom/son weekend away. It was so perfect! Cozy and very clean. Decor is very nice, not dated and not cluttered. Loved the front porch in the morning drinking my coffee looking at the morning sun glistening on the lake. The only negative I would have would be the mattress, it was very hard, not super comfortable, but he rest of the place and beautiful Lake Michigan made up for it. Close to everything....Holland State Park Beach, downtown Holland, bike trails. Looking forward to coming back again!"

"We loved and enjoyed a lot the great location, the lovely backyard, the well-equipped kitchen and the cozy decoration. We parked the car for our entire stay and did everything by foot or bike. We went to see the musical fountain several times, but also enjoyed the music from the backyard several times. The children loved the bunkhouse. The only inconvenience is going to the bathroom at night, but still a lot easier than when tent camping. It is a very charming old home. The original state of the home was kept whenever possible, but it also offers the comfort of the modern world. For instance the beds are old style (which reminds me of my grandmas bed and perfectly fit the style of the house, but the mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and almost new. The shower was very nice and the kitchen has all necessary appliances and is very spacious. The decorator managed to do a great job at blending together the old and the new and modern. We walked to the beach almost every day (about 20 min. walk to the main bathhouse of the state park, but closer if you want to stay close to the lighthouse). There are many beautiful bike trails that connect Spring Lake and other neighboring towns. Thank you for an awesome family vacation in Grand Haven!"

"We have stayed at this cottage three years now and every year, regardless of weather, is better. Supplies are fully stocked and there are always decorating improvements. It's quiet, clean, and wonderful. Lake Michigan is high this year, so there was minimal beach to enjoy, but that changes from year to year whenever beach is a factor. We will return."
