"A wonderful week. The cottage was very comfortable, especially the sitting area with its expansive views of the Lake. Some updates could be done (needs a good grill) but these are things that can be lived without. We did get cell phone service so that appeased the techies in our group. A huge highlight was use of the kayaks as Lake Michigan just begs you to get out in it. Very clean, and everything was just as expected. We definitely want to come back. Thank you for sharing your home!"

"If you are looking for a place to really get away from the hustle and bustle of daily living, this is the spot. As you sit at the edge of the property overlook a beautiful valley all you hear are birds chirping, leaves rustling in the breeze as you watch Hawks flying above, As noted there are hiking trails right outside the door. Darby has everything you would need for your stay. If you have kids...well they are in for a treat. Darby recommended a spot with the best pizza ever (there is a wait) and if you didn't know abou the spot, you would never go in to place your order. Beaches in the area are beautiful. I cannot say enough about how accomodating Darby is."

"This house & location were everything I hoped for & more. The house is lovely & feels just like my fantasy of a summer home near the Lake. The trail through the woods to the beach is a fairyland, beautiful, quiet & unpeopled; great for biking & running. The beaches are so close & you have your choice of protected inland Duck Lake with warm water or Lake Michigan which is not so warm but absolutely lovely with a lagoon that's warm & safe for children: the best of both worlds. Cycling through the State Park on paved, deserted roads surrounded by woods was a joy. The landlords, Peter & Jan are delightful & most helpful; they feel like old friends immediately! Squeaky, the cat is glorious; he has morning coffee with you on any of the three porches & has the loudest purr of any cat I've met. All the beds are most comfortable & it's very quiet. We all loved everything about the place & I have already signed us up for next year. It was a perfect vacation! Thank you so much!"

"Our stay in this charming rental house was amazing! There was plenty of room for our large group to fit comfortably. The house was so cute and clean when we arrived. It is the definition of a cottage house and the location is great. The only downside is the parking situation, but we knew that going into it. I would definitely stay again!"
