"The house had a great view of the lake, 2 large flat screen TV’s & was very clean except for a couple of dirty shoe marks as you entered. There was plenty of comfortable seating with views of both the lake & TV, 2 rocker recliners, comfortable beds, ceiling fans & the end tables had lamps. It feels like you’re visiting a friends lake home, nice family environment & well maintained. The wood deck is showing some wear. It is not handicap accessible, there is a ½ flight of stairs up & down as you enter. The decor has a simple lake theme without being tacky. The bathtub around the drain was a different color but not a problem. There is a water softener and a separate water source for drinking at the kitchen sink. The house was well-stocked with a nice supply of baggies, plastic wrap, foil, trash bags, paper towels, bath towels, wash cloths, 2 beach towels, flour, sugar, oil, basic seasoning, coffee liners, a few toys, action adventure DVD's, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent & cleaning supplies. The kitchen appliances are newer & in good working order (electric glass cook-top). The AC in the family room was fine, even in the 90's. The lake is shallow with a nice bottom to walk on. The sand box by the lake had a few toys. It was pretty quiet outside and very quiet inside even on Sat the 4th of July. Starbuck's fireworks started at 10 & lasted 20 mins. We could see them from the lower level, inside the house, away from the mosquitoes. We had toddlers & the house was easy to child proof. We brought 2 gates for the stairs, door knob covers, plug covers & placed a couple of large suitcases in front of the TV entertainment center. The crib had a sheet. There was plenty of room for the kids & toys to spread out in family room. We were told we will get our deposit back. The info provided about the internet was not exactly correct but we found the code on the internet box. The owner was nice & easy to reach. There wasn't any firewood but it was easy to buy nearby. The gas grill tank was empty, we didn’t check the backup tank in the garage. There is a nice fire pit but 2 of the plastic stacking chairs were cracking and not recommended for larger people. We rented a fishing & pontoon boat from Hunts Resort. The boats had small engines, nothing fancy & had to be returned each day. We had to pay for a new anchor for the fishing boat because the one that came with the boat was poorly tied on and fell off when it was being pulled up."
