"Tom and Linda were very nice and accommodating on short notice and during our stay. The Boat House was great. It had everything we needed. It was quiet, beautiful and we definitely will consider returning in the future."

"This "cabin" was referred to me by a friend who has stayed here multiple times. This place is wonderful! Great beachfront on a very quiet lake. Listened to the loons in the morning, watched the eagles during the day (two right on the beach) and hung out around the fire at night. A cup of coffee out in the sun porch in the morning was a great way to gather the morning thoughts and plan for the day. Close enough to towns if you feel to need to get out, but though that was our plan, we had all the amenities we needed and didn't want to leave. They keep it very clean and inviting. Communication with the owner was immediate and very accommodating. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The ONLY thing I can think to "complain" about is that it took a while to boil water for the fettuccine! And that we didn't choose to stay longer."

"This was the second year in a row the wife and I have dropped the kids off with my parents and headed to this cabin. Best word to describe it is quiet. The only sounds you'll hear are the wind through the pines and calling loons. And the only visitors we got were deer and fox. The cabin is awesome, perfect for a couple or small family. It's stocked with anything you could need, including lots of firewood and a propane grill. The surrounding area is great - we always grab a steak or two at Emily Meats, ice cream at Owls-n-Things, pizza at the Pickled Loon (sit outside and watch the endless parade of pontoons), and bisquits and gravy at the Village Inn (best gravy anywhere!). We'd also highly recommend a side trip to Crosslake. Fishing is great in the area and there is room to park a boat at the cabin. I would (and have) highly recommend this cabin to friends and family."

"A group of 12 women spent a weekend at this house to celebrate our 60th birthdays. We had a great time. The house is clean, roomy, comfortable, nicely furnished, and well stocked.
We prepared three meals at the house and enjoyed working in this kitchen.
Rather than sharing beds, several women chose to bring cots or inflatable mattresses. There is significant floor space (especially on the lower level) for this. It was a little cool in the lower level family room. Bring warm sleeping bags or extra blankets.
On Saturday we hired Mandy from Therapeutic Touch in Nisswa to come to the house to do massages for seven of us. She set up in the main floor bedroom. It worked wonderfully. We highly recommend her.
We also enjoyed a bonfire, shopping in Nisswa, time gathered around the fire place in the great room and around the large table in the dining room, the view of the lake, and dinner at Ernie's on Gull Lake . . . it worked wonderfully for us!
Would definitely stay here again!"
