The nearest airport to Breezy Point vacation rentals is Duluth International Airport which is 97 miles away. For those driving to the area, it is a two-hour drive from Fargo, Duluth and the Twin Cities, making it easy for family and friends to spend time here several times a year. Breezy Point is 20 miles north of Brainerd. Follow Hwy 371 to Pequot Lakes, then take County road 11 east for approximately five miles. From the I-94, take the Monticello exit (HWY 25) or Clearwater (Hwy 24) east to Hwy 10 then follow the Hwy 371 to Brainerd as above.

The Paul Bunyan trial is a multi-purpose trail close to Breezy Point which links Brainerd with Bemidji. It is paved for 50 miles and makes for a great day out. The city of Brainerd is the gateway to the lake area. It has an international raceway, local parks and movie theaters. It is also a good center for shopping and restaurants. Other delightful local places in the area are Baxter, Nisswa and the small community of Pequot Lakes.

Families will find plenty to do in the area around Breezy Point. The lake provides opportunities for fishing, boating and swimming. There are several excellent sandy beaches for leisure activities and sports. In the surrounding area, there are antiquing, hunting, biking and horseback riding. Visitors can enjoy fishing for walleye, northern pike, pan fish and tullibee in the lake which is generally less than 15 feet deep and bordered by bulrushes. The Breezy Point area is well known for its premier golfing with an Arnold Palmer golf course close by. In the winter, Breezy Point is a great base for enjoying winter sports such as snowmobiling, downhill tubing, skiing and show shoeing. Ice fishing from rented icehouses is a popular winter activity.
