  • Great location

"We had a great time during our week here. We really loved the location on the lake. It was wonderful for skiing, tubing and floating. It was also close to connecting into the other lakes and restaurants on the lake. The cabin and dock were well maintained and the kitchen had just about anything a person could need. Thanks for sharing your cabin!"

  • Awesome Getaway for two

"A great little cabin on Pelican Lake. Upon arrival everything was in great shape and very clean. The cabin is not big whatsoever, but is absolutely perfect for a couple looking to get away for a week/weekend. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, bed is comfortable and everything else in on the property is in great shape. The boat lift worked well for our little fishing boat, although it took some prompting to get the lift to descend into the water deep enough to get a boat on top-it was a little stuck. The deck is in great shape with an awesome set of chairs and a table, and the dock is in nice shape as well, with a comfy bench near the end for taking in sunrises and sunsets. Not a good place for kids, or someone who has to get away from road noise. It is right on the county rd which has a decent amount of traffic on weekends, and there is a lot of boat traffic moving in and out from Zorbaz, but it was perfect for us. Communication with Jan was great, and we never had any issues with getting our deposit back. I would recommend the property to anyone who asked!"

  • Retired Gals Getaway

"We are a small group of retired women who like to rent cabins or homes where we can spread out and relax while working on puzzles or craft projects. When I saw the pictures from the posting for this cabin, I knew that it would be the perfect place for us and I wasn't wrong. We absolutely loved the views from both decks and spent lots of time on them both in the morning and evening. The home was beautifully decorated and we especially liked the north woods theme. Tim and Daisy were very nice and helpful and responded quickly when we had a technical challenge with the TV. We enjoyed driving around the lake and spent some time walking through Father Hennepin State Park and shopping at the quilt store in Wahkon, but our most favorite time was spent at the cabin. The area is quiet and we saw plenty of birds while sitting on the deck. We look forward to renting this cabin again in the future."

  • Perfect "Up North" Escape, Fabulous Owners

"We spent a long Labor Day Weekend at the cabin. The owner made the booking very easy and the information provided by him and the site was extremly accurate. This cabin is adorable. It's very clean, super cozy, EXTREMLY well stocked and has a perfect setting tucked into the pines yet very near the lake. We had my parents and our two younger children with us and there was something for everyone to enjoy. We caught our limit of fish off the dock almost every day and the kids loved playing in the sand at the waters edge. The lake was quiet and peaceful and the it was nice to cap off each evening by the fire. I would book this place again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to several friends. We all felt lucky that the owners would share their lovely home with us."
