"A wonderful place to celebrate 33 years of Women's Weekend! The house is gorgeous and is great for a large group of friends. Lots of space for group gatherings and lots of spots for private time. We loved the beach, screen porch, the spacious deck and the beautiful gardens. Doug was a great host and was available for all of our questions. We plan to repeat next year!!"

"My wife and I have been boating on the Whitefish Chain and spending time in the Crosslake area for the past 5 years. We decided to book a cabin and spend a week on Cross Lake. We picked this spot due to it's location and sunset views, but that is only the start. The cabin is so clean and well maintained. It has a separate grilling "shack" with a Weber gas grill and a charcoal grill. The appliances are all new, the furniture, beds, TV, and other accommodations are all top shelf.
The patio has a glass top table with seating for 6 that overlooks Cross Lake with a spectacular view at any time of the day, but the sunsets are AMAZING!! The entire beach is soft sugar sand all the way out to the end of the dock. There is a fire pit next to the beach that is also a great vantage point to watch the sunset. The wireless boat lift was a major plus for our stay. It was nice not having to tie up the boat and hope the wind and waves didn't destroy it. (One negative is that there is no canopy for the lift so the boat is susceptible to the elements) However, having the lift available is a very nice feature.
I would highly recommend this property to someone looking for a great family vacation. The property lays out perfect for easy access to the town for groceries, ice cream, restaurants, coffee (all within walking distance). Plenty of parking space and a boat landing within half a mile. The cabin itself has 2 bedrooms up and the master in the walkout basement. Two refrigerators, one up and one down helped to keep food and beverages cold. It has one big wall AC unit to cool the house with fans available to move the air. If you don't have a great vacation staying here, it won't be because of the accommodations."

"Every year our family, my husband and myself, our two children, my in-laws and brother-in-law, vacation in the Brainerd area. This year we chose Wendy's cabin. What an amazing cabin! It was by far the best place we've stayed yet. The cabin itself is beautiful and spacious with so many amenities. Just a short distance to the water...caught so many fish! The kids already asked to come back next yet! We had an amazing week - many great memories made at the cabin that week. Worth every penny."

"My family has enjoyed staying at Heath's Resort for the past five years. We really enjoy our stay for many reasons! The cabins are clean and up to date! Very comfortable and attractive, too. Carole & Dave Heath are great and always available if you need them! We plan to return for years to come!"
