"Our grandsons, 9 and 6, have now enjoyed a family week at "Captain Dick's" each summer in their memory. Family visits in between are filled with memories, stories and speculation about next time. "How far will we swim?" "How many Sunnies will we catch?" "Might we plan on at least two S'more nights around the fire ring at sunset?" This splendid property facilitates the most wonderful vacation experiences and that is a tribute to the owner's attention to hospitality and detail. We also appreciate the peace and tranquility of being on the lake, but away from the road."Guest: John Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 29, 2014View listing

"Had a great time with 5 friends at this beautiful and comfortable property over Memorial Weekend 2014. Owners left us a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift! Spent a lot of time out doors as the weather was great - the dock and outdoor fire-rings are awesome. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. It is a small drive into town, about 10-15 minutes, but that keeps the area tranquil and unspoiled. Would love to back sometime soon!"Guest: Sk Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 2, 2014View listing
"Second year at Witchwater and looking forward already to next year. Once again the cabin ticked all the boxes!!! Everything in side and out was well maintained the new shower was a plus. Jodie is always there to help with and answer any questions. Being on Bertha is a great launching point to begin your day on "THE CHAIN" or a quick round of golf just down the road. If you want that true feeling of going to the lake and turning back the clock we would highly recommend WITCHWATER !!!!!!"Guest: Patty C.
