"My siblings and I surprised our parents with a week-long stay at this home for their 60th Birthdays this summer. I have stayed in many VRBO homes and this one was completely stocked, offering more "extras" than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful and well-maintained. You can tell that the family cherishes the property. We were able to park a pontoon in the available boat slip, which was ideal for several days of fun on the lake. The perfectly clean water and sand-bottom lake were ideal for the several small children in our family. Cindy was incredibly helpful and attentive. We LOVED our time here and are discussing making this an annual event. We would absolutely come back if Cindy would have us!"Guest: Emily M. "Beautiful cabin, very clean, and newer updates! We had 6 adults and 2 children, there was plenty of room to spread out and the sandy beach was ideal for everyone! If you love to fish you will have to rent a boat...we rented from Breezy and rode down to cabin for lunch and a break! Thanks for everything!"Guest: Paul Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
"My husband, me and our pup just returned from a lovely week at the Anderson cabin. The pictures are reflective of this charming property. The view of the lake from the cabin are amazing as are the sunsets. The cabin was clean and well-cared for with everything you need for a week at the lake. We experienced a quiet and serene week. The activity on the lake and in the neighboring cabins picked up over the holiday weekend but, it was still a relatively quiet lake with good fishing. My husband and brother-n-law caught several "nice" walleyes. Finally, Sandra and family were kind, respectful and responsive owners! We hope to be back."Guest: monica r. "The cabin is well maintained (on the historic list), the porch is the best feature with multiple windows to let in a nice breeze and protect you from the crazy mosquitos. Lots of fun games were provided along with new HD televisions and a DVD player. The contact, Carrie, was always helpful and a easy to work with. The cabin offered plenty of sleeping space and amenities (2 fridges, updated appliances, washer/dryer, empty lot next door, huge driveway for parking, and propane grill). This place provided everything needed excluding Wi-Fi internet but you can just use your 3G or 4G. The cabin is perfectly located across the street from a golf course, literally next door to a private boat launch (charged 10 dollars a day but the owner Shelby was very nice and rented us a slip for the same price so we didn’t have to bother taking the boat in and out), and only a couple miles from both the casino and other various bars/restaurants/liquor stores/grocery stores/gas stations. Have absolutely zero complaints with this place and would recommend it to everyone. Just be advised that there is only one bathroom if that is an issue with anyone, it was not for us, and that the lake is huge and can be windy and dangerous so boat use is unpredictable. Overall 5 stars!!!!!"Guest: Drew Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 24, 2014View listing
