"I am sad to think that someone new is taking our place at this Cabin/Lake Home...It was an amazing week. Lot's of great memories were made. This Lake Home is incredible, so spacious, open to enjoy all's company, but plenty of get-a-way space if need be. I did not come a cross anything I needed in the kitchen that was not available.
The Foosball and bumper pool were a great fill in and was used a lot, then there is the bean bag toss that was also used.
The fire pit is a nice area, the old chairs by the pit were amazingly comfortable and very unique.
The fishing was OK.... we caught Bass, Northern, and walleye. You can catch plenty of pan fish, but never caught any that we considered large enough to keep. We did discover that trolling the shoreline is the way to go...we did catch some nice Bass at the little island right out from the cabin. Leeches and worms were the choice of the week for the fish.... and of course the white twister tails. We did do some night fishing from the dock, caught some nice bull heads and a dog fish, that was all our Grandson was after and he caught one... was nice to watch his happy dance. We were lucky enough to be night fishing during the meteor shower, it was an amazing show, we probably seen 20 shooting objects in the night sky.
The town of Aitkin will have all you need, its about 15 minutes from the cabin. They have a nice grocery store and anything else you would need.
We did go to Bingo at the Legion on Tuesday night (adults only) I won 66.00, had a few drinks...it was fun.
I want to thank the the owners for opening up their great home to us for the week.... it truly was an amazing place.... The Tipton's Cedar Rapids, Iowa"

"This is a great little cabin ideal for a couple to get away. The entire cabin is equipped with updated appliances and comfortable furniture. It is right on the water with its own dock. We didn't use the boat lift. The kayak is a single person so consider bringing another if two people want to go. Having Zorbaz across the street was excellent for us. If you don't feel like cooking just run across the street. The only thing is what most people already mentikned, the traffic noise. It wasn't a big deal to us really but big trucks and motorcycles taking off in the intersection were loud sometimes but nothing that is too loud inside, just on the deck. Not a deal breaker for us at all. Janice was absolutely great to work with and happily responds to questions very quickly. Overall, do it. We had a great experience."

"Thank you, Joel and Shelley, for the opportunity to again stay at your beautiful home on the Middle Cullen! Our two young granddaughters, daughter and son-in-law, and son were all thrilled to be there for the week and enjoy the 4th in such a great setting. Our oldest granddaughter loves to fish and caught the "best fish" right off the dock! We were lucky to have a great week of weather and be out on the water every day. Also got to celebrate our son-in-law's birthday while there and the delicious apple pie and ice cream were just perfect! Thanks, again! Marcy and Gary"

"My husband and I received this vacation as a gift from our adult children and what a gift it was! We spent the week at our leisure on sand beaches, crystal clear water and towering trees. The sunsets were fantastic reflected on the glassy water. We golfed three of the local courses and enjoyed their scenic beauty as well.
A special thank you to the host and hostess of this property for their cordial sharing of information, people, and local hot spots for us. We appreciated your open friendliness and all the people we met at Round Lake."
