  • Nice large private home with incredible porch

"Our group rents a different property every summer. For us, we would probably not stay again because we like to be on a lake and have found other nice properties with lake access and more bathrooms that can accommodate our large group However this home is perfect if you're okay with 5 minute walk to lake Pros: Jeff was easy to work with - great communication - very professional The front yard/porch area was beautiful, comfortable..absolutely great! The kitchen/supplies were more than substantial everything you could need and then some The extra normal sized fridge and freezer in garage was a nice surprise Extra seating in garage was also a plus for those dinners when everyone ate together Nice large firepit area Cons Lake was a bit of a walk - we knew that ahead of time but thought it would be closer than it was. Only 2 bathrooms for 12 people and 5 bedrooms. On Vrbo the house advertises 2.5 baths but only 2 were open to us) - we knew that going into it but still would have been nice to have extra 1/2 half bath Showers usually got hot enough - there were notes by the showers that said you may need to wait 5 minutes for the hot water - there were a couple times when people got a cold shower We had a lovely weekend with family and friends. This home would be great in the winter too."

  • Expansive, beautiful home

"We were a little early for swimming season, but the beach was wonderful. We had a large family reunion, and it proved perfect for such an occasion because two of the bedrooms have adjoining bedrooms with a shared bath. It would not be good for large groups who didn't want to walk through a master bedroom to get to a secondary bedroom for children and to get to the bathroom. It is a terrific place for extended families such as ours. Diane was wonderful to work with and the home was immaculate upon our arrival. Our damage deposit was promptly returned, and we would certainly rent it again."

  • Amazing experience!!!

"Our family (18-25 people) have stayed at resorts from Alex to Grand Rapids we've stayed in cabins that are tilted, no beach, had mice on the countertops...This place was nothing like that. The cabins were clean and well maintained, the lake is private and VERY well stocked. The lodge had games for the kids and trails to explore. We WILL be coming back this fall and hopefully this winter to check out all of the snowshoe, ski and snowmobile trails. Week day rates are best in the state and SOOOO worth it! If you don't at least check it out ...your an idiot!"
