  • K&A

"We just spent a month in paradise. Quiet, cozy, peaceful and beautiful. What more can we say. The sunsets have been spectacular. Looking forward to next year."

  • Fabulous VRBO home!!

"We rented this home for a "girls weekend". There were 9 of us and everyone, without exception LOVED this home. We have been doing our annual weekend for more that 20 years and we found this place to be the best we've ever had. Kari, the home owner made us feel welcome with a nice note and a bottle of wine!! We will most definitely be going back."

  • Great Property during Winter!

"First off, the house is amazing and really reasonably priced during the winter. It’s huge and there’s plenty of room for a people to congregate as one. We loved being able to cook, serve the food and eat all as one group at the table. The view of the lake is wonderful from both upstairs and downstairs. There’s a huge cabinet of games above the fridge in the kitchen. The hot tub was awesome to use in the winter. But as the owner warned us…you have to walk outside to get to the hot tub so your hands/feet can freeze as you’re going back into the house. The ice fishing house that comes with the property is very small. It’s 6 holes and is good for about 3 or 4 people to be in at once. The communication was poor as far as how to get the ice house set up in working order. Make sure you contact the marina in advance (Phil’s Myr Mar Marina) and let them know you want the holes drilled and that you’ll be paying cash for it (about $30). You also need a battery to run the electricity in the ice house (i.e. have lights). During our trip (Feb 2015), you could see the ice house from the main house but needed to use the marina’s roads to access it. Overall, great trip, lots of memories made and we’d love to come back in the summer!"

  • Fabulous cabin, neighbors too close

"We had such an amazing weekend. We found the cabin to be clean, functional, and really cool. Unfortunately we were too noisy for the neighbors by having 10+ people around the fire pit. The owner was very polite and patient while we got volume under control. With everybody celebrating indoors with windows and doors closed, we had a great time quietly enough. It was a bit of a shame being at a cabin in a beautiful area and staying indoors in nice weather."
