Recent Mille Lacs Lake property reviews

  • Reunion July 4th 2014

"We had 38 people at the resort for 7 days. We rented a toal of 5 townhouses. Our townhouse was voted the nicest and the best location. We enjoyed the dock and swimming are right in front of the townhouse. It was really convient when we forgot something at the beach we just ran back took 2 minutes. We rented a golf cart which made it more convient and fun to travel between all the townhouse's through out the resort. We also decorated the golf cart for the 4th of July Parade at the resort. There were 10 golf carts in the parade and we thought ours was the best. My neices and nephews will always have of wonderful memories of decorating and blowing horns while driving thrpugh the resort. We will defiantly book this townhouse in the future."

  • Charming, clean cabin on the lake

"We rented this sparkling clean cabin for 3 nights during the week in August 2014. This cabin was the perfect relaxing, getaway. There were four adults in this cabin, which is the max I would do even though it can sleep six. There is one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room with a sofa-sleeper, one bedroom with queen bed and another bedroom with two twin beds. The cabin came with every possible amenity: two grills (one gas, the other charcoal), a fire pit with wood pre-stocked, inner tubes for swimming, fishing poles for fishing, wifi Internet access and plenty of DVDs and books for a rainy or relaxing day. The cabin was nicely decorated inside and out. The cabin is 20 feet from the shore with sliding glass doors that open onto a large deck with a nice patio table and chairs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watched loons and other wildlife swim by. Just steps away from the cabin is your own personal dock and boat lift. The cabin is located on the southern part of Mille Lacs Lake in a small bay. There is no beach at the cabin and the lake is rocky with some weeds, but the water is clear. We rented the owner's pontoon (nothing fancy but clean) which came with life jackets and fishing rods, and enjoyed the true-Minnesota lake experience touring Mille Lacs Lake and fishing in various spots. The cabin has a large, shaded yard. The owners live next door and popped by daily to make sure all our needs were met. We hope to return to this beautiful cabin some day soon!"

  • Stormy weather

"OMG we loved this place!! Perfect for the two of us to stay. Wish we had better weather but the screen porch enabled us to not be stuck inside. We spent a whole day out there playing cards and grilling listening to the waves roll in and the rain fall. Such a cozy and comfortable place to stay. Love the checkout time so you can still enjoy pretty much of the day rather than getting out before lunch. We will be back!"

  • Had a wonderful time.

"My wife and I had the pleasure of renting this house from mid-October until the end of January. My wife is a travel nurse and I am retired. We brought our 2 dogs with us. The area surrounding the house was fun to explore and investigate. Saw plenty of wildlife ie: bald eagles, deer, etc. Casino just down the road (within 4 miles) with plenty of food options. Owner was extremely personable and willing to attend to any needs that came up."

Isle Travel Tips

Isle Vacation Rentals on Beautiful Mille Lacs Lake

Minnesota is not short on beautiful lakes, but Mille Lacs Lake is one of the most serene and scenic that you'll find. This lake is Minnesota's second largest, spanning over 500 square kilometers. Whether you're looking for the reef-top fishing that's offered on the side of the lake or simply hope to spend some time unwinding on the water, Isle vacation rentals give you an ideal location. Mille Lacs Lake also has a fascinating history and is likely the site of the oldest human settlement in the state.

Just Outside Your Isle Lodging

Whatever you're looking to see, you'll find it close to Isle vacation rentals. These Mille Lacs Lake houses are just minutes away from attractions of all sorts, including the Father Hennepin State Park (a gorgeous forest area located against the rocky shoreline with idyllic hiking opportunities), the Fiddlestix Golf Course (an 18-hole golf course with hazards and standard regulation length), the Mille Lacs Lake Museum (a place to learn the history of the region), and a variety of family-friendly dining options. If you find yourself looking to explore Minnesota's famous sites, the twin cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis are just an hour or so away from your Isle lodging.

Mille Lacs Lake Houses for Less

Isle vacation rentals can save you a surprising amount of money if you're traveling with larger groups or you intend to enjoy a longer vacation. You won't be lacking for amenities either, since these accommodations offer spacious rooms, large beds, washer and dryer units, full home theater systems, kitchens, and more. Many Mille Lacs Lake houses are literally steps away from the beach. There's not a more intimate way to experience the area than with this private and luxurious Isle lodging, and the cost will come as a pleasant surprise.
