"My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights this past weekend. We have an awesome and relaxing time! The cabin is ideally located very near Nisswa and not a far drive from Pequot Lakes, Brainerd, Breezy Point, and Cross Lake. There is a ton of great stuff to do in the area, the cabin is very nice, and well appointed. We also enjoyed visiting with the extremely nice owners and their adorable Black Lab puppy. :-) We'd love to go back!"

"I am sad to think that someone new is taking our place at this Cabin/Lake Home...It was an amazing week. Lot's of great memories were made. This Lake Home is incredible, so spacious, open to enjoy all's company, but plenty of get-a-way space if need be. I did not come a cross anything I needed in the kitchen that was not available.
The Foosball and bumper pool were a great fill in and was used a lot, then there is the bean bag toss that was also used.
The fire pit is a nice area, the old chairs by the pit were amazingly comfortable and very unique.
The fishing was OK.... we caught Bass, Northern, and walleye. You can catch plenty of pan fish, but never caught any that we considered large enough to keep. We did discover that trolling the shoreline is the way to go...we did catch some nice Bass at the little island right out from the cabin. Leeches and worms were the choice of the week for the fish.... and of course the white twister tails. We did do some night fishing from the dock, caught some nice bull heads and a dog fish, that was all our Grandson was after and he caught one... was nice to watch his happy dance. We were lucky enough to be night fishing during the meteor shower, it was an amazing show, we probably seen 20 shooting objects in the night sky.
The town of Aitkin will have all you need, its about 15 minutes from the cabin. They have a nice grocery store and anything else you would need.
We did go to Bingo at the Legion on Tuesday night (adults only) I won 66.00, had a few drinks...it was fun.
I want to thank the the owners for opening up their great home to us for the week.... it truly was an amazing place.... The Tipton's Cedar Rapids, Iowa"

"The home was comfortable for us. We had 8 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 2 yrs to 10 yrs. Everyone had a bed to sleep in. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake from the living/dining area of the house and from the back deck. There was also a nice deck in front of the house and a beautiful front lawn where we played beanbags and lawn Yahtzee. It got a little warm in a couple of the bedrooms that were not part of the A/C coverage, but the temperature in the rest of the house was good. There were games available and some toys for the kids to play with. We enjoyed our evening campfires in the great fire ring area. We liked having the larger area at the end of the dock to hang out and chat. The kids had a great time catching fish off the dock. Two of our kids got swimmers itch one day...they were playing in the shallow water digging in the sand for "treasures." When the direction of the wind changed, we didn't experience any further problems with that. Bay Lake is a very nice lake and we had a lot of success catching sunfish and crappies. We enjoyed our week staying at Lunker Lodge!"

"We arrived to a nice welcome of wine and chocolates. Our vacation just got better from there. This was a great cabin for our family even with one section not having air conditioning. It afforded us to have our own space and also come together. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit and played games on the screened porch. Laura, the property manager, provided many things that equipped this cabin with personal touches. We were glad we rented a boat. This allowed us to cruise the many lakes connected to Lake Margaret and enjoyed many beautiful sunsets. The many stairs to the water might make it difficult for those with mobile disabilities and very small children. Thanks for sharing this with us!"
