"We had 38 people at the resort for 7 days. We rented a toal of 5 townhouses. Our townhouse was voted the nicest and the best location. We enjoyed the dock and swimming are right in front of the townhouse. It was really convient when we forgot something at the beach we just ran back took 2 minutes. We rented a golf cart which made it more convient and fun to travel between all the townhouse's through out the resort. We also decorated the golf cart for the 4th of July Parade at the resort. There were 10 golf carts in the parade and we thought ours was the best. My neices and nephews will always have of wonderful memories of decorating and blowing horns while driving thrpugh the resort. We will defiantly book this townhouse in the future."

"My mother and I stayed at Haven Lane Cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners explained that it was the first cabin on the lake (built in the 20's) with some nice additions -- screened-in sleeping porch (wish we'd used it more) and a 3 Season porch overlooking the lake.
Our favorite parts: daily visits by 14 year old dog, Tucker, view of the lake through the trees, proximity to town- far enough away for seclusion but close enough for an ice cream run, the couch on the 3 Season porch, and the numerous windows that open to catch the breeze and bring in the lapping water and Loon calls.
We thought it important that people know it's rustic - this place is for those seeking cozy nostalgia in a vintage Minnesota cabin, and who will embrace mismatching dishes and furniture and a creak in a door or floor.
We loved this place for what it was- a step back in time and a respite from the hustle and bustle. We cooked and ate on the porch, snuggled up in blankets and read on rainy days and took day trips to Crosslake and shopped for antiques.
Crosslake is very nice and has everything you could need (I forgot all my toiletries and had to restock).
It's nice that the owners, Jon and Kate were just next door if we needed anything - casual and friendly owners who didn't mind if we had Tucker stay for a couple hours. :)
Many, many thanks for a great stay."

"We had such an amazing weekend. We found the cabin to be clean, functional, and really cool. Unfortunately we were too noisy for the neighbors by having 10+ people around the fire pit. The owner was very polite and patient while we got volume under control. With everybody celebrating indoors with windows and doors closed, we had a great time quietly enough. It was a bit of a shame being at a cabin in a beautiful area and staying indoors in nice weather."

"Second year at Witchwater and looking forward already to next year. Once again the cabin ticked all the boxes!!! Everything in side and out was well maintained the new shower was a plus. Jodie is always there to help with and answer any questions. Being on Bertha is a great launching point to begin your day on "THE CHAIN" or a quick round of golf just down the road. If you want that true feeling of going to the lake and turning back the clock we would highly recommend WITCHWATER !!!!!!"
