"It's hard to find a cabin 6' from the water in MN ... regulations now require more like 30'. But this one is right by the water. Everything clean and in good shape and comfortable. Nice fire pit right by the water, grill, place to clean fish, easy to get to. Deep water right off the dock allows for great fishing without a boat, though there is a boat lift if you have a boat. We caught sunnies, bluegill, bass and Northern Pike right off the dock. We saw Eagles every day, hawks, Northern Flicker, Blue Jay and more birds. Two restaurants on the lake are of good quality. No resorts on the lake which makes for quieter, more peaceful traffic both on roads and lake. Close to state parks, Brainerd, hiking, nature and anything you need, but not so close to Brainerd that it's over-populated ... you are definitely away from any large towns. Owners are fantastic to work with! It looks like we may finally be starting a yearly tradition. I said to my sons ... "don't you want to go different places" and they are pretty set on coming back here ... which is just fine with me."

"We stayed here while our son attended Heartland Hockey Camp because it was just a short 10 min. drive to the camp.
The cabin was much more than we had expected! So clean and cozy and the owners had everything in the house that anyone would need for a great stay including a fully equipped kitchen. I enjoyed sitting in the back watching the deer and listening to the loons. In the morning, I sat on the dock to watch beautiful sunrises. The dead end road was perfect for riding our bikes. There were mountain bike trails nearby and we also enjoyed renting a kayak to use on the a nearby lake. Plenty of shopping too...
We were greeted the first night by the owners, Ken and Sandy, who offered us a very scenic, charming ride around their lake on their pontoon. I have never met such sweeter people!
I will stay there every year now!"

"We had a wonderful family vacation at this Breezy Point townhouse. The townhouse was exceptionally clean and comfortable for our group of 7. The views are spectacular. After our morning walk around the beautiful area, the adults relaxed out on the patio and sipped coffee, enjoying the lake scene. The teenagers in the group had plenty to do and enjoyed renting jet skis from the marina at the resort and renting bikes to ride on the Paul Bunyan Trail. We were also able to rent a pontoon from the marina and take a tour of Pelican Lake; I had my first chance to see a loon at close range. Another high point of the trip was a very successful fishing expedition, and we had a wonderful fish fry that evening. The girls in the group enjoyed a couple of shopping trips to Nisswa while the guys played golf at a couple of different locations. We all played Bocce ball on the lawn in the evenings before firing up the fire pit for s'mores, and two of the kids even slept out in their hammocks a couple of nights. The dock is quite large which provided another gathering area to enjoy the views. The Breezy Point area is a great place for a family vacation, and the townhouse is well-suited for cooking meals and gathering for family time. We plan to return this summer."
