"Our large family stayed at this amazing 'cabin' in July. We had a wonderful time. The homes are incredible and we enjoyed the beach and the lakes throroughly. No time to be bored here. The three season porch was fantastic. There was not a square inch that we did not enjoy. Gorgeous home. It was absolutely perfect for us. We were able to cook and eat together in the large kitchen which was great. So glad there was an ice maker! We would love to come again! It was also very kid friendly with gates everywhere you could want them, but easily hidden when you don't."

"Each year four couples get together for a few days. We have done this for 25 years. This year we went to Lake Pointe, as we enjoy the outdoors and thought. Alexandria, Minnesota would be a nice place to visit. When we looked at the website, we knew we were getting a nice house, but when we drove up and actually saw it we were totally amazed. We walked around the house not believing this place was ours for a few days. The outside has a nice pontoon and paddle boat that work well. The yard is absolutely gorgeous, with tables to seat many people along with a smaller table right close by the lake. There is also a fire pit close by the house with chairs there for eight people. We were there in early September and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset outside listening to the loons. At the time we were there, it was very quiet and peaceful since it was off season. You can fish from the dock if you like, but hang on to your rod as the bass will pull your rod right into the water! And that water is cold when trying to retrieve it. We can only imagine how beautiful it is right now with the leaves turning colors!
The inside of the house is huge and beautiful! There is a gourmet kitchen with beautiful granite countertops. Everything you need is right there. There is also a large formal dining room and living room. We mostly spent our time in the bright, cheery sunroom playing games or enjoying the outdoors, but believe me, if you need your space, you can find it here. I noticed there are many items available for children, like pack and plays, walker, high chair, rainbow play set etc...so this also would be a great place for family reunions. We loved our time there and in Alexandria. It would be very difficult to think anyone would not enjoy their time at Lake Pointe. The owner was also always available if we had any questions. Loved it!"

"We were looking for a place to stay that was centrally located for our family to gather for Christmas. What a wonderful surprise to arrive and have the house decorated for Christmas complete with a Christmas tree! The home is beautiful, very well maintained, equipped with everything we needed and more. The open floor plan on the main floor made it so nice to be able to prepare meals in the kitchen and still be able to visit with everyone. A few members of the family tried a little ice fishing but didn't catch anything- according to the bait shop owner we stopped at February would be a better time for that. The gentle slope down to the lake was a nice place for my 11 month old Granddaughter to have her first try at sledding in her new sled though! The owners were very timely in responding.
We were only able to stay a few days but had a great time and would be very interested in returning. Beautiful area and would love to see it in the summer when we could enjoy the water a bit more!"

"What a wonderful lake home! It was just as lovely as described. We met there for a close family reunion with ages varying from mid-twenties to late 60's, and the property was enjoyed very much by all. Most of us were familiar with the somewhat remote area, and enjoyed the scenic, rustic, peaceful beauty the property and area provided. Use of the kayaks was a big plus for the younger family members. We definitely would recommend this home."
