  • Honeymoon Getaway

"John was very professional and considerate. The cabin was exactly as advertised and a joy to stay in. Kitchen was amazing and our favorite room to spend time in and cook. We spent time around a fire, watching movies, walking on trails, and just enjoying the cabin's many views. If you are in need of groceries, there is a great little store just 2 miles away. We had a blast and would highly recommend this cabin if you're looking for a quiet getaway. We hope to go back someday!"

  • Beautiful!

"Each year four couples get together for a few days. We have done this for 25 years. This year we went to Lake Pointe, as we enjoy the outdoors and thought. Alexandria, Minnesota would be a nice place to visit. When we looked at the website, we knew we were getting a nice house, but when we drove up and actually saw it we were totally amazed. We walked around the house not believing this place was ours for a few days. The outside has a nice pontoon and paddle boat that work well. The yard is absolutely gorgeous, with tables to seat many people along with a smaller table right close by the lake. There is also a fire pit close by the house with chairs there for eight people. We were there in early September and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset outside listening to the loons. At the time we were there, it was very quiet and peaceful since it was off season. You can fish from the dock if you like, but hang on to your rod as the bass will pull your rod right into the water! And that water is cold when trying to retrieve it. We can only imagine how beautiful it is right now with the leaves turning colors! The inside of the house is huge and beautiful! There is a gourmet kitchen with beautiful granite countertops. Everything you need is right there. There is also a large formal dining room and living room. We mostly spent our time in the bright, cheery sunroom playing games or enjoying the outdoors, but believe me, if you need your space, you can find it here. I noticed there are many items available for children, like pack and plays, walker, high chair, rainbow play set etc...so this also would be a great place for family reunions. We loved our time there and in Alexandria. It would be very difficult to think anyone would not enjoy their time at Lake Pointe. The owner was also always available if we had any questions. Loved it!"

  • Wonderful stay!

"This was our second year staying at this location for our annual ladies weekend. Once again we enjoyed this beautiful home. The house has everything we need when it comes to cooking, bedding, towels & plenty of space. We plan to stay here next again because it works out so well for our large crew. The home owner is very accommodating & wonderful to work with. Thanks for a fun filled weekend!!"

  • Great place to stay!!!

"We stayed here while our son attended Heartland Hockey Camp because it was just a short 10 min. drive to the camp. The cabin was much more than we had expected! So clean and cozy and the owners had everything in the house that anyone would need for a great stay including a fully equipped kitchen. I enjoyed sitting in the back watching the deer and listening to the loons. In the morning, I sat on the dock to watch beautiful sunrises. The dead end road was perfect for riding our bikes. There were mountain bike trails nearby and we also enjoyed renting a kayak to use on the a nearby lake. Plenty of shopping too... We were greeted the first night by the owners, Ken and Sandy, who offered us a very scenic, charming ride around their lake on their pontoon. I have never met such sweeter people! I will stay there every year now!"
