"Our family so enjoyed this lovely home on the lake. The home, oh my! Gorgeous old home with lovely high ceilings and amazing living space for everyone to hang out and visit. This is an old home, if you are looking for new this is not the home for you. However if you enjoy the ambiance and true loveliness of an almost 100 year old home come soak in the atmosphere. I must say the kitchen is completely modern, we made a wedding cake while we were there and the Viking oven was awesome! The lake is right down the walk way, don't worry about dessert, the trek back up the walk will work that all off. This truly was an awesome home and we have raved to all of our friends since we have been home!"

"We (4 adults and 1 toddler) just returned from a very relaxing weekend at this great little cabin. Everything was clean and well maintained. The view from the cabin was absolutley beautiful! We were able to launch our boat at the private ramp and took full advantage of the free kayaks and paddleboats. We also enjoyed seeing and hearing the loons on the lakes and watching a few other boats traveling in the channel in front of the property. We hope to return soon because this cabin is only about an hour from the Twin Cities."

"Eight of us usually go to a lake cabin for a long weekend of walking, talking, cooking and eating. This time it was great to stay in town, as three couples needed to be in town for brief times during the weekend. We walked Summit Ave and the river, took the bus to a Saints game and ate at a couple of restaurants nearby. The kitchen was totally updated and stocked (the stove lighting was a very minor challenge identifying which knob controlled which burner). The house is beautifully maintained and decorated, combining Downton Abbey elegance with modern art and technology and fully updated HVAC. We had some slowness in Wi-Fi (We really shouldn't all be on our phones and laptops during a "getaway!") The yard was large and we were able to eat outside and play games around the large round table. It was too hot for the fire pit, but a great place to sit and enjoy appetizers. We didn't have time to do all there was to do (croquet, bocce ball, etc.), but we made good use of the pool table, pinball machine and large TV in the media lounge. Dirk was accessible and provided instructions for whatever we needed. The historic Irvine Park and houses are magnificent. It was truly a wonderful place to stay."

"Our stay was perfect in this delightful apartment. It's in a perfect location, close to great restaurants (we can highly recommend Everest), boutique shopping and a neat grocery store. It's spacious enough for 2 couples or a couple with several children. It's got character, is very clean, has a well-appointed kitchen and even an iron and ironing board. If the temperature is warm enough the screened porch floating in the treetops is a great place to relax! We'd love to be able to stay here again."
