"This house had everything for everyone. Great storage, very clean, wonderful location and amazing fishing off the dock. Think neighbors are cops so nice, safe and quiet area. Perfect for family fun! We're already planning our dates for next year."Guest: Cindy Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 30, 2014View listing
"This home is a unique property with a gorgeous view of a secluded bay on Lake Minnetonka. Older home, well maintained, ample space, private, conveniently located. We rented a boat, kayaks, and paddle boards. Great kitchen, huge living room with beautiful windows. Close to town of Excelsior, easy to get to from airport. Loved it."Guest: Dina W. "Great location except for trying to go for a bike ride or walk with stroller. Coming out of the area where the house is located is difficult with traffic. Would be nice to have a side walk in that section so it is not so dangerous for about 2 blocks. After that you can go into a neighborhood with playgrounds and trails and it is great. The house was great. It was pretty clean and we received fast service for a plugged bathtub and request to get the dock in. Could have used more deep cleaning and dusting although we understand the tight timetable turn around. The interior photo's were very accurate. The exterior photo's were a bit more unclear. We did not realize that there was a road/bridge directly across the water that you see when sitting outside but the noise was minimal. I would recommend it to a friend and actually a friend came by and said they would keep the place in mind after they move this summer for when they want to come back to Minnesota for a visit. Como park zoo, and Mall of America were places we visited and enjoyed. Also, enjoyed the nearby boardwalk and parks.. All in all the house was great and we appreciated the wonderfully equipped kitchen and bathrooms with shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels. Great access to the water from the dock and for swimming or fishing or boating. Nice that it was located in the slow wake zone of the lake so that there was little wake/noise from passing boats. Wonderful outdoor patio, gas grill and fire-pit. Beautiful sunrises over the lake."Guest: Rose Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 14, 2014View listing
"My family & parents recently stayed here on Cook's Bay & had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful & clean with all the needed amenities. When the weather wasn't cooperating for fishing or boating MOA was just 20 minutes away for a fun filled day. I would recommned a fishing guide if you are new to this lake, we had a great experience with Take the Bait Guide Service, & learned many tips for fishing in Cook's Bay. We have stayed in other rentals in MN past years & this one has been our favorite yet! Another plus is that the owner replies promptly with any questions you have for your stay. 100% recommend this for your next stay in MN."Guest: Jen Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 9, 2014View listing
