  • Absolutely the BEST!

"I didn't want to leave this charming rental! It was beyond clean and an adorable space with plenty of room and lots of light. Babs was a most accommodating host and gave a thorough orientation to the property as well as being readily available for anything that came up during the stay.My husband is very picky about mattresses and the master bed passed his tough standards! Lake Harriet has always been one of my favorites in the Twin Cities and it was just two blocks to the trail around the lake .The delightful shops of Linden Hills at 44th and Sheridan (with Sebastian Joes and its great ice cream!) were just a little further! Broders Italian deli was just a block away as was Breugers Bagels. There's also great shopping and dining at 50th and France but this would require a short bus ride or car. I was in Minneapolis celebrating the birth of my first grandchild who only lived 5 blocks away,so it was an easy walk to see him, but gave my daughter and her husband the privacy they wanted as they started their new journey into parenthood. Bus routes are within a block so there is access to the city, but a car would help get around town. The neighborhood in which the house is located is very family oriented. Having a new little one in our family made watching all of the kids on trikes a delight, but would probably not thrill someone looking for a hip, cool experience. I would come back in a heartbeat- this rental met and exceeded my expectations. Just a delightful experience all the way around! Thank you Babs for a wonderful stay!"

  • Great Experience

"We hosted a company retreat for 14 of us and found this property suitable for lounging & cooking majority of our meals together. We spent most time in the spacious kitchen playing card games & mixing drinks. As hosts, my husband and I stayed in the upstairs bdrm w/ bathroom and our guests shared the other two bathrooms. We found extra TP in the linen closet, blankets and extra pillows. We had two training for 5K's who enjoyed the lake trail (right next to the residence)."

  • Quiet, cozy, comfy, safe

"I stayed at 555 Grand Hill for five weeks. It was just what I needed--a comfortable retreat with easy access to shopping and other amenities. I-94 is nearby, Grand Avenue is one-half block away, and downtown St Paul is easy to get to. In the apartment, I had everything I needed for cooking. The bed was luxurious as was the shower. All of that, plus privacy and quiet, and as an older single woman traveling alone I appreciated the locked main entry and the neighborhood sidewalks. I walked my beagles three times a day and always felt at home. Stacey was always available to answer questions. The apartment was clean. Wifi always worked. I recommend 555 without hesitation. Susan"

  • Everything You Need:)

"My husband & I stayed here with our infant son and had a very nice time. The condo spans three floors and provided plenty of space for our family. The rooms were all clean & the owner provided both a highchair and a Pack 'N Play for our son, which was extremely convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking/baking supplies and the location of the condo was close to several parks, restaurants, Como Station, & campus. Plenty of parking in front & out back. When on the first floor, the walls are a bit thin and floors a bit squeaking, so you can sometimes hear the neighbors when they're entertaining. We were a bit anxious about this when our son would cry or squeal, especially in the mornings. Overall this was everything we were looking for & we had a very comfortable stay. Would rent this space or others from this owner again if we're in the area in the future."
