"Our family loved this home. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars was because there was no dishwasher, and we cooked all of our meals for the week, so it was a lot of dishes. Otherwise, tho, it was fantastic. Quiet, calm, and with extra things like a high chair, tons of beach towels, life jackets, even a baby one. The rooms were extra private which was a huge plus. The bedrooms were small except for the upstairs one, but it didn't matter, all we cared about was wonderful sheets and the quiet. And our family used the paddleboat a bunch. The hot tub was the frosting on the cake! A kids park across the street and a walking/biking trail a couple blocks away. Immediately rebooked for our next year."

"The location is great with close access to the airport and all the attractions in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. Chris, who manages the property, is outstanding, very helpful and responsive. The lake location is one of the best on this small lake, the fishing was great and the fireworks over the water viewed from the deck were amazing. The house is well laid out with many amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable and everyone slept very well. To get 5 stars the house needs upkeep so that sink fixtures are tight, toilet seats don't wiggle and retaining walls are in good shape. Still would highly recommend this place if you like the water or if you want to visit museums, zoos, churches, victorian homes, arboretum and mall, and then retreat to a nice suburban lake shore location, like we did."

"Came up to spend quality time with my kids and this place didn't disappoint! House is beautifully maintained and the two decks provided constant scenery as we went about our day. Owner provided all of the essentials and we ended up spending most of our time out on the lake, or sitting on the deck relaxing and playing cards watching the sun set. Great stay!"

"My husband and I are from the Chicago area and rented this house for a daughter's wedding, who lives in Minneapolis. We have 4 other grown children, all with life-partners and some grand kids, who live all over the country. We rented this home, hoping to spend some rare quality time with them around and between wedding festivities, and like all previous reviews note, this property did not disappoint! Spacious, quiet and private, yet close to everything. Stocked with games, equipment and activities- something to occupy everyone, regardless of weather conditions. 2 of our 4 days there we had excellent weather so we were able to take out the pontoon boat- a dock and lift conveniently on the property- and cruise beautiful Lake Prior. Afternoons and evenings were spent playing volleyball, ping pong, fishing, sitting around the fire pit and just enjoying the lake views from almost all the windows and the not-soon-to-be forgotten 3 season porch. All land and water equipment were in excellent condition. We even held a wedding party gathering at the house of about 40 people on one evening that the house and property easily accommodated! Dealing with property owner, Cindy was a dream. She made sure we could find everything we needed and had the house ready upon our arrival. We will be back!
P.S. The master suite is also a lovely surprise!"
