  • Reunion

"What a wonderful place! We had a group of ten for a reunion of veterans, some that haven't seen each other in almost 30 years. The house offered much more privacy and fun than if we would have stayed in a hotel. It was so nice to have the ability to have home-cooked meals. Nice amount of room for all of us to stretch out and the dining room was a focal point of a lot of fun meals, games and conversations!! Having the hot tub and pool was so much fun and the fire pit was great on a beautiful Autumn day. The owner has it so nicely stocked that you just need to bring clothes and whatever food you want to cook. Even shampoo and body wash was available!! The only drawbacks, which were minor, is that the TV had no cable and the WiFi isn't the strongest."

  • Awesome!

"This was an amazing place. We couldn't have had a better stay. The house was gorgeous, beautifully appointed, and impeccably maintained....and fully equipped with just about anything you could need. The owners Dirk and Ruth were friendly, warm, and welcoming. It was a fabulous setting for our extended family coming together for our nieces wedding. We loved the beautiful park opposite the house, and the surrounding area of tree lined streets and beautiful old homes....and the bike path along the river. We absolutely would recommend it to friends, relatives, or any one looking for a truly 5 star experience. Michael and Janice and family."

  • Great Rental Property in St Paul !!

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spotless, quaint, and very well equipped. The location was very good and very convenient and we were able to take several walks to Lake Phalen which was only a couple of blocks from the house. The property owner was also one of the best people we have dealt with and very attentive to all our needs. There was no TV but that was not an issue for us and the owner did have Netflix available to use by guests. We would definitely recommend this property to others."

  • Excellent Lower Level Apartment

"I was leery about renting the property because there were few photos, few reviews, and the reviews were more than a year old. However, this place is a gem! It was clean, comfortable, accommodating, and right off Grand Ave. The photos are accurate. The owners were available for any requests. We enjoyed lunch at Grand Ole Creamery which is a business of the property owners. Awesome Ice cream! I would recommend this property to friends and relatives. Thanks for a wonderful welcome and stay at your lovely home! We will be back!"
