"This is property is an amazing hidden oasis in the middle of the city. We do a yearly Sister’s, Aunt’s, & Cousin’s reunion. It is hard to find a place with enough rooms for all of us & this worked out! We had 6 little ones we had no idea they would have such wonderful supply of toys & pool toys & floats for the kids they had a blast with them. It rained most of the time & thankfully the pool was there we had so much fun swimming. It was so peaceful the outside yard is beautiful! This house has everything you need for a family getaway, especially a large group getaway!!"

"Our family so enjoyed this lovely home on the lake. The home, oh my! Gorgeous old home with lovely high ceilings and amazing living space for everyone to hang out and visit. This is an old home, if you are looking for new this is not the home for you. However if you enjoy the ambiance and true loveliness of an almost 100 year old home come soak in the atmosphere. I must say the kitchen is completely modern, we made a wedding cake while we were there and the Viking oven was awesome! The lake is right down the walk way, don't worry about dessert, the trek back up the walk will work that all off. This truly was an awesome home and we have raved to all of our friends since we have been home!"

"We just finished an October weekend stay and it was very enjoyable. First of all, we showed up a day earlier than anticipated and the owner was very responsive in getting the cabin ready for us.
It's close to Stillwater, so the sightseeing is great and there are loads of food options in the area. In fact, we found plenty to do even though it was too cold to enjoy the kayaks and canoes. One morning, we went to New Richmond (about 10 miles) for breakfast and some food shopping... and on the way saw two bald eagles on their nest, 30 feet above us along the road.
After all the sightseeing, we asked our grandchildren what the favorite part of the weekend was. We thought it would be the Teddy Bear Park, but they were unanimous that the favorite was the giant swing at the cabin."

"Stayed here with a group of friends for 2 days over New Years Eve. Friends came in from multiple different states and regardless of whether they were flying or driving this location worked well. The house is really nice and spacious and had plenty of places for people to both sleep and socialize.
Owner was extremely flexible and responded promptly, it was a pleasure to plan and communicate with her. Definition of Minnesota nice."
