"Stayed here for a family wedding. The location was perfect. House was just as described - clean and well maintained - Angie was great to work with. Will definitely stay there again when visiting family!"

"Eight of us usually go to a lake cabin for a long weekend of walking, talking, cooking and eating. This time it was great to stay in town, as three couples needed to be in town for brief times during the weekend. We walked Summit Ave and the river, took the bus to a Saints game and ate at a couple of restaurants nearby. The kitchen was totally updated and stocked (the stove lighting was a very minor challenge identifying which knob controlled which burner). The house is beautifully maintained and decorated, combining Downton Abbey elegance with modern art and technology and fully updated HVAC. We had some slowness in Wi-Fi (We really shouldn't all be on our phones and laptops during a "getaway!") The yard was large and we were able to eat outside and play games around the large round table. It was too hot for the fire pit, but a great place to sit and enjoy appetizers. We didn't have time to do all there was to do (croquet, bocce ball, etc.), but we made good use of the pool table, pinball machine and large TV in the media lounge. Dirk was accessible and provided instructions for whatever we needed. The historic Irvine Park and houses are magnificent. It was truly a wonderful place to stay."

"We spent two nights in the condo on a visit to Minneapolis for a Cubs/Twins game. The accommodations worked out great for us. Renting a condo is a nice option for two couples traveling together. The cost is comparable to two hotel rooms and it's nice to have the common area for socializing. On our first night we walked to Matt's Bar for a burger, had a few drinks at the patio set, and played cards into the evening. The next morning we made breakfast, walked the short distance to the light rail station, and took the train directly to the stadium So easy and convenient!
After the game we had a bite to eat downtown, and then returned to the condo to watch the end of the PGA tournament. I will say that the new tv was pretty small for viewing golf...but I'll also admit that there are many things that people could/should be doing while visiting the cities instead of watching golf on tv.
The rental was very clean and very comfortable. The location is really great. It is nice to be able to park the car and then use the train for transportation. Having the car in a locked garage is an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Just a few things to note for the owner...there were no salt/pepper shakers in the kitchen and we couldn't find paper towels to replace the roll that was nearly empty when we arrived. Also, since there is only one bathroom, it would be nice if there were mirrors in the bedrooms to help speed up the "getting ready to go" process.
Again, I give this rental a high recommendation and will check its availability the next time I'm in town for a show or a game. Oh...I almost forgot ....Cubs win 8-0!!"

"We hosted a company retreat for 14 of us and found this property suitable for lounging & cooking majority of our meals together. We spent most time in the spacious kitchen playing card games & mixing drinks. As hosts, my husband and I stayed in the upstairs bdrm w/ bathroom and our guests shared the other two bathrooms. We found extra TP in the linen closet, blankets and extra pillows. We had two training for 5K's who enjoyed the lake trail (right next to the residence)."
