  • Girls Weeked Getaway

"We utilized this cabin for a 10 person girls weekend. We had ample room for conversations and snacking. Enough beds for us to sleep comfortably and 3 showers to speed up getting ready in the morning. We enjoyed experiencing the outlet mall (30 min drive) and local resturaunts and bars. Although there are neighbors nearby, everyone was quiet and respectful. This property was well maintained and looks exactly as displayed in te pictures. It has wifi but only a tiny tv and it did not have a stereo system. I would recommend this property."

  • Great location!

"This cozy space was perfect for us (a family of 4). We were wishing for a place close to family in Minneapolis while still being close to green space. The kids loved being so close to the beach and playground. We all enjoyed sunset walks around the park and neighborhood. We always felt very safe. It was quiet and we never felt like we were even in a city. The owner, Mark, was super helpful and very accommodating...the floor was cold, so he brought over a floor runner. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals at "home" including brand new frying pans. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio (there's a nice outdoor table and chair set and a grill). We'll definitely stay here again!"

  • Amazing getaway!

"My husband, 3 girls (ages 10, 7, and 3) and I stayed at this amazing house for a fall getaway. I knew we were going to love this place when we were greeted by Angela with 12 bakery fresh huge cinnamon rolls. :) It is decorated so uniquely that you feel so cozy and warm yet entertained. This house has SO. MUCH. TO. DO. There is something to do in every corner from lookout chairs with binoculars, to shelves of books, to a foosball table, to a fireplace to sit and warm your feet. It was all insanely great but the selling point for my girls was the art room. Angela had art supplies for our continually crafting girls. She had paper, paints, colored pencils, etc, etc. In the art room she had toys, games, and puzzles for all ages of kids. Angela was so pleasant to work with and always available. This place is definitely on our list to return to."

  • Title is fine

"Great location except for trying to go for a bike ride or walk with stroller. Coming out of the area where the house is located is difficult with traffic. Would be nice to have a side walk in that section so it is not so dangerous for about 2 blocks. After that you can go into a neighborhood with playgrounds and trails and it is great. The house was great. It was pretty clean and we received fast service for a plugged bathtub and request to get the dock in. Could have used more deep cleaning and dusting although we understand the tight timetable turn around. The interior photo's were very accurate. The exterior photo's were a bit more unclear. We did not realize that there was a road/bridge directly across the water that you see when sitting outside but the noise was minimal. I would recommend it to a friend and actually a friend came by and said they would keep the place in mind after they move this summer for when they want to come back to Minnesota for a visit. Como park zoo, and Mall of America were places we visited and enjoyed. Also, enjoyed the nearby boardwalk and parks.. All in all the house was great and we appreciated the wonderfully equipped kitchen and bathrooms with shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels. Great access to the water from the dock and for swimming or fishing or boating. Nice that it was located in the slow wake zone of the lake so that there was little wake/noise from passing boats. Wonderful outdoor patio, gas grill and fire-pit. Beautiful sunrises over the lake."
