"Our family stayed here June 2015. The property has a great location, amazing views and so close to great sights. We enjoyed our days out exploring the area and our evenings relaxing on the deck watching the clear star filled sky, playing board games (provided by the owners) and enjoyed being able to cook our own meals in the great kitchen. It is a quiet area but yet so close to everything you would need for a great weekend getaway! The owners were a pleasure to work with. Without a doubt we would stay here again and would highly recommend this property!"

"A wonderful place to stay for six of us during our stay in Beaver Bay. The kids loved the pool, sauna, and nightly marshmallow roasting by the firepit. Amenities of the townhome were great with amazingly comfortable beds (though not the pull-out sofa), a nicely equipped kitchen, and the basics like dish soap, sponge, salt & pepper, etc all provided. We were only missing paper towels, an oversight I'm sure. The folks at Camp 61 up the road were very responsive to our request for a second key and have great recommendations of sights to see. We'd love to stay there again but the property is up for sale."

"My husband and I took a much needed long weekend at this charming log cabin. When you walk in and see right through the windows to the lake it is mesmorizing. The deck on the lake side of the cabin was perfect for our morning tea and at night with a glass of wine watching the Orange sunset. It was absolutely beautiful. The cabin is a true log cabin and I love the vaulted ceilings and open wall design. It was roomy and comfy and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. The grounds are amazing and we had smores, and fires every night and wine as wel. We watched a playful "white weasel" one morning. That was truly a unique one of a kind of experience. Sitting in the chairs by the edge of the cliff looking at Palisade Cliffs was breathtaking. Our cockapoo loved being able to lay in the sun on the deck and he truly enjoyed his stay as well. Only negative is the over salty water for showering, etc. However, that would never deter us from coming again. We loved it. Thank you for a lovely opportunity in sharing your property with us. We loved the black beach in Silver Bay! Thank you Harold and Rae for answering our questions and for keeping up the cabin. J & D - St. Paul"

"Spent 5 days at this cabin and I can't tell you how wonderful the view is!! You could just sit all day and listen to the birds and watch the lake. The fire pit area is also a wonderful place to relax with family and friends. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin had every thing you could want. We had a great time. Saw a fox and a deer on our stay. Also saw a couple big ships from the deck which was very cool. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us. We plan on coming back again."
