  • Great location, great cabin, great time!

"Had a wonderful week here. The property was very clean and much larger than expected. The owner and his staff were very helpful and always available to us. The lake is huge and the kids had a great time fishing, wakeboarding and tubing. We also had a good time just cruising the lake. The yard is large and we played several yard games. The nice sandy beach was a perfect place to play and sit around the fire. The cabin is about 2 miles from the Mesabi bike trail and the kids spent a lot of time biking and exploring. Four wheeling trails are also nearby. We saw the open pit mine in nearby Hibbing and explored the area mines and nature. Last but not least, the hot tub on the screened in porch was an amazing way to end each day. This is a little piece of heaven tucked in between 2 decent sized cities, Grand Rapids and Hibbing, which gives you great access to several amenities such as museums, shopping, restaurants and groceries."

  • Comfort and Location!

"The condo is SPACIOUS! The bathrooms are huge with ample countertop space and good showers; the kitchen has full sized appliances and a desk for a laptop or charging area for phones and devices. Each bedroom has a nice size dresser, and there was adequate space for hanging our clothes. We were in town for the Blues Festival and easily walked to and from the event several times over the weekend. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance too. Parking was a huge challenge, for sure, but maybe would be easier at a less-busy time??? It's best to find a safe space and leave your car and walk where you want to go. Wifi is available in the building and worked great when we arrived on Thursday, but by the weekend when the hotel filled up, we were only able to connect to Wifi late at night or very early in the morning. A minor electrical problem was handled cleanly and efficiently in about 30 minutes and was not even an issue. The owners are helpful and very attentive to any problems that might spring up. Probably the most comfortable vacation rental we've ever had."

  • Sweet is the right word!

"We loved this wonderful cabin. It was roomy and cozy at the same time! Very clean and well kept. The view of the lake is beautiful! It had a land line but no signal for cells, computers but that was a good thing because we played games, watched a couple movies, read and actually talked to one another. We will be back!"
