  • Ski in ski out

"Very nice, spacious, accessible to pool area, and well furnished for skiing fun. We were able to cook our own meals with the right cooking utensils, and or pots and pans to use. We ate all our meals at the condo. It's nice to come back for a noon meal and not fight traffic at the chalets. Fabulous to take off our ski equipment and relax. This was one of our 3rd condos we have stayed in over the years at Caribou Lodge. Each place has it's own personality. We just like to ski at Lutsen and the VRBO gives us the opportunity to find a convenient place to stay. Easy access from parking lot and it was wonderful that we did not have to carry our bags, cooler, food all the way to the 3rd floor this year. Only 1 flight of stairs from outside access or 2 flights from inside access. Yea! Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your condo."

  • Fantastic!!

"My family stayed at this cabin last summer. There were 15 of us and we were all able to stay comfortably with an additional air mattress downstairs. The cabin is spacious, clean, and beautiful inside and out. We have started a family tradition at Burns lake and we all look forward to returning in a couple weeks. Burns Lake cabin is great for kids! They can swim and fish off the dock, run in the yard, go on family hikes (sporting fancy and very exciting compass whistles provided by the cabin owners ), kayak, and see all kinds of wild life. All you need is bug spray, sunscreen, food, and family to have a great time. The lake is also big enough to tube and ski. Fall asleep to the sound of loons instead of other campers at this private and quiet oasis. A great price for the space! NOTE: There are stairs down to the lake so this could be an obstacle for those with disabilities."

  • Wondeful Cottage in Excellent Location!

"The Cottage was the perfect setting for our family get-together including 2 and 4 yr olds. Plenty of room with three big bedrooms and a huge family/living room with the sweetest reading nook by the fireplace. We had so much room to spread out and play with the little ones yet still have areas for the adults to visit. The Cottage was spotless and cozy - decorated beautifully but still kid friendly. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking and dining there. Really loved that the dining area and kitchen are open to one another- we spent a lot of time around the table visiting, cooking, eating, etc. So very comfortable. We loved the historic feel to the house yet appreciated all the modern conveniences. The owners home is located right behind the Cottage - between the lake and the Cottage - and you walk by their home on the way to the beach and this didn't bother us in the least. It was comforting know they were close by if we needed anything. Would love to visit again in the summer and take advantage of the beautiful beach and water activities provided with the cottage. Would also LOVE to sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and take in beautiful Duluth and Park Point. We highly recommend and look forward to staying again sometime."

  • Superior Solitude is the Greatest!

"We only spent 2 lovely days there on the lovely rocky shores of Superior but what a lovely 2 days indeed. The cabin is very well laid out, comfortable, and well furnished. The local area is fantastic with plenty to do all year round. Can't wait to go again!"
