  • A lovely Fall Get-Away

"I stayed at the beach house for a wedding event in Duluth over the weekend. It was beautiful! Gerry and Patricia were flexible and helpful! My favorite parts included a somewhat hidden entrance to the beach and a beautiful elevated deck overlooking the lake. Thanks!"

  • Great location-Everything you need for a wonderful vacation!

"We spent 5 days with our son and his family, including our 3-year-old granddaughter! We had a wonderful family vacation that included time on the beach, time at Canal Park and other sightseeing in Duluth and time around the campfire and on the deck overlooking Lake Superior. The owners were very responsive, without being intrusive, and provided a great setting for our vacation. House was very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great place to stay in Duluth that takes advantage of the Lake Superior shoreline!"

  • Not quite what we had expected...

"Four of us stayed at this condo for a long weekend, from Thursday through Sunday. The condo was lovely, and much bigger than it appeared from the pictures! Having two bathrooms was great! There are mirrors everywhere, which can be a little startling if you're not used to that. The fireplace was wonderful, and so easy to use! There were some things that weren't quite so wonderful though. First, the parking. The description says ample parking, lots of spots. This is NOT the case. There were maybe 40 spots to be shared with the hotel, Old Chicago, and overflow parking from Timberlodge Steakhouse and Red Lobster. At one point, we circled for 45 minutes looking for a spot before giving up and parking in a pay lot. Also, the equipment in the kitchen leaves something to be desired. It's great if you're only planning to make/serve sandwiches and other pre-made foods. Actual cooking is hard. There is one stockpot, a 2 quart pot, and two frying pans. No mixing bowls, or anything of that nature. There are lots of table knives, but only a few steak knives, and a couple of kitchen knives for preparing food. We ended up going to the dollar store to buy enough cooking stuff to get us through our time there! It wasn't terrible that stuff wasn't there, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that the kitchen isn't equipped for full-on cooking/baking. Overall, it was a very fun experience, and we had a great time in Duluth."
