  • The Perfect Get Away!

"Thank You Bill for providing the perfect Get Away for our family to stay! Our family of 6 adults rented Sandy Point while we were in Duluth for my son's wedding. I loved the view, cleanliness, and Yes ~ we apprciated your rules and the fact that if needed we could call you with any concerns! Everything was perfect! Our family hopes to stay at Sandy Point again in the future."

  • Wonderful, Amazing, Just what we wanted!

"My husband, 4 year old son, my parents and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was perfect. The cottage was clean, spacious, and perfectly decorated. The bedrooms were all great sizes, the kitchen and grill were ideal for cooking and the porch was just what we needed in the evenings. My little guy loved the toys and games, they were all hidden away - so no toys just laying out. We had a great time!"

  • Quiet Get Away

"My husband and I rented this home for our 32nd Wedding anniversary. It was perfect! Michael and Lynn kindly left us a note and a wonderful bottle of wine to acknowledge our special event. They also recommended a near by butcher shop which we took advantage of. We had some fresh brats and a yummy grilled steak! The cabin is just as described, cozy, comfortable, nicely appointed, and a great place to relax, enjoy nature and renew a relationship. Our trip was in the fall so we enjoyed seeing the beautiful color in the trees from the paddleboat and our hike to Corona Lake. We also took advantage of biking on the Willard Munger trail which is close by and easy to access from Carlton, MN. We would recommend this cabin to our friends and family and would definitely stay here again! Bravo Michael and Lynn for providing a little piece of heaven on earth."

  • We thoroughly enjoyed this home

"My sisters and I spent several nights in this charming home. The place was beautifully clean, and very welcoming. The architecture was noteworthy, and we enjoyed all the extra touches in the home's design and furnishings. The cottage was just as described. Nights were quiet and restful. We were able to drive to Canal Park in only a few minutes. This was a first trip to Duluth for one of us, and we took in much of what I like to think of as characteristic of Duluth. We enjoyed a boat cruise, Glensheen tour, Gooseberry Falls, and Skyline Drive. The Seven Bridges road was closed while we were there, but we were able to get to the first bridge easily before the closure. Of course, Mexican food at Little Angie's on Canal Park was on our agenda too. This Hillside Cottage provided a peaceful respite at days end. Thanks for sharing your home with us."
