"When we arrived at this lake home we thought WOW the pictures don't do this place justice.
The cabin was quite large, with plenty of room for us and our two grand son. The gazebo got plenty of use and kept the mosquitos at bay. Not knowing the lake we didn't catch any walleyes but we did get plenty of panfish. Grand Rapids is a relatively short drive away so we went there a couple of times. All in all it was a great week at a great cabin."

"My partner and I, and our two dogs, had a great time in this lovely house on Eagle's Nest Lake. We love to hike and took advantage of Bear Head State Park just a few miles from the home, and also explored a number of absolutely amazing trails around Ely--stunning big pines on rocky cliffs beside beautiful frozen lakes. It was so wonderful to come back after a winter hike to this sweet lakeside cabin and enjoy the sauna and then sit by the fireplace. The house has lots of room and is very nicely laid out. There are many large windows for great light and views. The house was clean, well-cared for, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything we needed (including a foosball table!) for a great two week stay. Bruce responded promptly to my questions and was very helpful. We'd highly recommend this comfortable, peaceful spot. And we really appreciate finding such a nice place that allows us to bring our dogs along as they certainly enjoy the hikes at least as much as we do."

"Excellent nature get-away-- fishing, canoeing, hiking, relaxing! The best feature by far of this property is the screened in porch. At night we listened to loons, coyotes, owls, and ??? There was always someone wanting to sleep out on the porch--like camping but way better--no bugs and a comfortable futon. Maggie was great to work with."

"we enjoyed this well kept condo with its open wooden beamed overhead, brick walls, and location. Plenty of towels, clean bedding and well equipped kitchen. Quiet surroundings and easy access made for a great stay. Would definitely stay again."
