"Highly recommend this immaculately clean duplex with exceptional attention to detail. Very close to town, but very quiet. Great price. Sally is a wonderful host. Would recommend The Crooked Spoon, Angry Trout and Naniboujou Lodge for great dining."

"We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin is well taken care of and we had no problems at all. The bonfires were awesome and we had fun fishing on the lake (brought our own boat). Our week stay was quite misty but when it cleared, the view of the lake was amazing! I always received prompt responses if I had questions before our stay and it was very easy to get ahold of the owners during our stay if necessary. Thank you for a great family trip!"

"This was a really wonderful place to stay. We loved the lake front view and the great deck. The weather was great so we were out on the deck and the kids could play inside and out. They discovered tadpoles in the pools of water on the rocks and were intrigued with them. The kitchen is great to prepare meals. The competition was on to see who cooks the best meal. We day-tripped to the Gunflint trail where we rented boats and played on the sand beach there. Grand Marais offers a lot with the book store and donut shop and a Ben Franklin and Food Co-op. We like the art galleries and checked out the craft center. We also went to Gooseberry Falls and played in the water and on the rocks. On the way home Lutsen (Alpine Slide and gondola) was a fun stop. We definitely would recommend this home for a lovely vacation."

"Very lovely view of the lake from the dining room. We had a peaceful time at the cabin--very comfortable and clean. A bonus were the many sizes of life-jackets. Great for my kids as we enjoyed canoeing."
