  • Family Fun

"We had a wonderful stay at this rental in Duluth, the big kitchen was great and well equipped, we left some insulated cups and a large chip dish for taking outside and not worrying about harming the rental dishes. We had 2 toddlers and it was perfect for their playtime. The could crawl around the big area and walk around the furniture. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very nice. Our favorite place was the long dining table where we ate, played games and just sat around talking. Thanks for the great time and place. It was a perfect place for our large group and we had a wonderful time with our relatives from Duluth. I would encourage anyone to rent this place."

  • A lovely Fall Get-Away

"I stayed at the beach house for a wedding event in Duluth over the weekend. It was beautiful! Gerry and Patricia were flexible and helpful! My favorite parts included a somewhat hidden entrance to the beach and a beautiful elevated deck overlooking the lake. Thanks!"

  • Great Location

"The location can't be beat! There were some minor housekeeping issues. There was an old chewed up looking hat in the kids' room that didn't belong to us, the lamp was broken (my husband brought in his tools and fixed it so they could use it), our dresser and TV in our room were very dusty, there was a minor ring of dirt in the jetted tub. I went through and did a cleaning so we could feel a little better about being there. The fridge wasn't emptied either. Other than that, the location is great, and there were plenty of plates, dishes etc. to use, comfy beds. I gave this 4 stars due to loving Duluth and the lake and the fact that we were out much of the time. Just based on the upkeep of the room, I would have given 3 stars. If we want to stay in Canal Park again, we may just go through The Suites hotel instead, unless it's their cleaning service that takes care of the condos also."

  • Family Vacation

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Deer Lake cabin! The large kitchen was a natural gathering spot for the family and there was plenty of space to branch out when we had a couple of rainy days. We found plenty of large serve-ware for our big group. The king-size bed in the master bedroom was heavenly, very comfortable. The teenage boys enjoyed having their own space in the basement with a separate entrance and the girls loved the bunk beds with privacy curtain. All the bedrooms had reading lights, perfect for snuggling in with a book before bed. With a hose set up right next to the campfire, and a shower outside behind the sauna, much of the work normally attributed to cabin-time was removed. Perfect for larger groups!"
