"Stayed with a buddy to spend the weekend fishing. Very well maintained home with everything you need. If you are ok not being on the lake, this is an excellent option.
Owner of the home is very easy to work with."

"The condo was very, very nice and in a perfect location. The kitchen was great -- we brought most of our meals and found everything we needed. The beds were wonderful. Life in Duluth is good!!!! Thanks Beth and Tim."

"We stayed here with several adults and 7 children and had a wonderful time. There are definitely fish to be caught off the dock and swimming to do, though as someone else mentioned water shoes are a must, really almost everywhere around this area as it's mostly rocky shore. The cabin is clean and well stocked; the kitchen in particular has more "stuff" in it than usual, including knives that work and spices/sugar. There isn't much around the area for groceries though, so whatever you want to have with you, you should bring.
We rented a pontoon boat from Pine Point Lodge and the owners Jeff and Cathy were great; they gave us a map marked with all the places to check out including several little beaches that were tucked away and a lot of fun to explore, and were just a couple minute boat ride away when we needed bait (or realized we forgot toothbrushes).
There is another cabin right next door, and if there are people there you will be sharing the dock area with them. Our "neighbors" were very nice, and it's no big deal, but maybe good to know that you will be in close proximity to other people if that cabin is rented.
One other small thing to note; there is Wi-Fi, but when I tried to use it I got a message saying that it had all been used for the month. Obviously one isn't there for the Wi-Fi-, but as I was planning to download my book onto my iPad once I go there, that was kind of a bummer. Take care of any important online tasks before you get there.
The area is remote and really beautiful. Most of the places we went we had to ourselves. We absolutely loved it, and will be back."
