"My fiance and I rented the cabin for a week long getaway. The cabin was comfortable and clean. Caught plenty of fish and really appreciated the boathouse as it rained most days we were there. The cabin was close to the public landing and town, Cook, is just a short drive away. The driveway down to the cabin was a little rough but we managed to get in and out. Enjoyed that fact that we were merely 50 ft from the lake and it was relatively level. We had a great time. Thanks for letting us share your cabin."

"We had a wonderful time at Birch Point Cabin. It was very clean and welcoming. The deck was wonderful as was the hottub. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The view was lovely and we had lots of fun fishing. The lagoon is a great place to keep the boat and to fish off the dock. Holly was a wonderful host, always available and helpful if we had a question. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The only thing I would say is there were a few things missing in the kitchen that we needed. We were staying a week and when cooking, I couldn't find measuring cups, spoons or a good bowl to mix in. Otherwise, the kitchen stuff all matched and was very nice. Thanks Holly for a great week."

"The location at the end of a point allows for a sweeping view of islands and the sunset. Total immersion in nature with Tower five minutes away. With ample room, this cabin accommodated seven of us ages 23 to 58 perfectly. Bedrooms are situated so early risers do not disturb late sleepers. The kayaks were immediately in the water on arrival. The little fishing boat was perfect for my adult children to take out around the islands and nearby bays where they caught walleye, northerns, and bass. We saw eagles and loons right from the dock with a bench that is perfect for coffee in the morning. The deck over the water is a unique feature that was used as a gathering point to string fishing poles, sketch art, enjoy happy hour and sunset dinners. The kitchen was well appointed. My artist son from NY appreciated the photographs, paintings, and ceramic pieces. We made a backyard fire and s'mores almost every night. Original plans to tour the north shore, Soudan Mine, camp on an island and golf all went undone as everyone was pleasantly content and busy enjoying "cabin life" together. Owner was a pleasure to work with. We hope to be back again!"

Home was as explained and everything was in working order
"The home was in order and all you would expect was there ie; fridge, coffee maker, stove oven, microwave, outdoor grill, fish cutting table and some simple electronics. Fishing was ok as options for fishing spots were limitless. Public access to the property docks were not that far at all. Fishing maps were laid out but sad to see there wern't any fishing spots pointed out like I was told there would be. We found a few anyways. I did catch a 41' Northern. Not too far from the dock. Cabin we found to be laid out well and cleans. Each room is furnished with storage and queen beds. Thanks for letting us stay!"
