  • Winter cabin weekend

"Five of my best friends and I wanted to get away from the Twin Cities to ski for the weekend, this was the PERFECT cabin for our trip! It is the quintessential cabin home and is in such a beautiful location. We literally woke up the first morning to a sunlit view of the lake and deer in the yard. Plus, it's less than five minutes down the road to the ski hill! The kitchen is fully equipped, the towels are soft, the beds are cozy, and it's the perfect open living space to gather around the fire and play games. We are already planning our return for a summer getaway!"

  • Another wonderful Thanksgiving in Lutsen!

"This was our second Thanksgiving in a row at this town home and we hope to be back for more. Our family has been enjoying Thanksgivings in Lutsen for over a decade - so we can make an honest comparison - and this is a very nice unit. It's large enough for 3 families to comfortably spend 4 nights together. I'd agree that the main level living room is a bit small for a group as large as the home can sleep - as others have noted - but it's no different than any other unit of this style in the complex, so definitely nothing to be concerned with. In general the home is great, always prepared for our stay and the kitchen definitely allows for anything that you might want to whip up - including Thanksgiving dinner for a large group. The views are absolutely wonderful and the location within the complex is very convenient. Caribou Highlands is our favorite resort close to the hill, and being so close to the ski hill itself is another added perk. Whether you're skiing, hiking, relaxing by a fire or visiting all of the fun spots up and down Highway 61, this is a great place stay. Add to that the owner is very friendly and easy to work with as well, which is yet another perk of renting this town home. We'll be back and you should stay here too if your travel plans are bringing you to the Lutsen/Tofte area."

  • Heaven/Haven

"My husband and I just returned from Hidden Cove and we're already homesick. We've stayed on the North Shore in literally dozens of places and we've found it. Home. The views are 360 degrees, the home itself impeccable and, really, the best part was Sandi! The privacy cannot be beat, having your own beach cannot be beat. This property has been with their family since 1948 and you feel that settled the minute you arrive. Pictures don't do justice nor words. Hesitant to write this review because it's a hidden gem!"

  • Beautiful location with cozy cabin

"My husband and I spent a relaxing 3 nights in this cozy, comfortable cabin. We enjoyed taking our morning coffee just steps to Lake Superior and watching the sun rise over the lake. The weather was beautiful and we hiked a few trails, ate dinner at nearby restaurants and read on the porch. We were almost disappointed it didn't rain so we could hunker down in the cabin and spend a day reading and napping! The only negative was I would have liked to sleep in the loft bedroom but the stairs are steep and we worried about having to climb down during the night! Excellent cabin in every other way."
