"We rented mid-summer for a week in July and the weather could not have been more perfect! Sunny and mid 70's every day. We saw one 20 min. rain shower all week. There is so much to see and do on the North Shore, mainly we hiked and visited waterfalls (Cascade, Temperance River Gorge, and Pigeon Falls (up at the border) were the best), although we toured Split Rock Lighthouse, drove up to Grand Marais for dinner at the Angry Trout, and took the mountain tram ride up at the ski resort as well. The appliances looked new and the place was very clean and well kept, we even grilled a couple meals on the charcoal grill provided. This was a great vacation experience for our family, and I would say that if you're vacationing on the North Shore and you don't seriously consider Lutsen Solitude you are doing yourself a disservice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, we would rent here again."

"Superior Solitude captured our hearts and quieted the noise we've learned to exist with in our large city. The ever-changing lakescapes enchanted us from clear calm waters, to fog shrouded mystery wonder filled!
The warmth of the pine interior décor emerses one in the truest northwoods experience. After daily jaunts the deck beckons you to embrace the majestic Superior from the comfort of your own piece of paradise.
The beds and linens are very fine and the best way to end an exciting, adventurous day and ensure you of getting a restful slumber.
Our spirits are rejuvenated! Thank you so kindly for sharing your lovely home with us. We will most definitely return."

"Rented the lodge with a nice group of friends and had a wonderful time. Beautiful fall weather helped, but the house was spacious and comfortable for a large group - everyone wasn't crammed into one room to socialize. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and I haven't even talked about how beautiful the lake is, plus a nice State Park a few miles away with good hiking."

"My husband and I absolutely loved our time at this cabin! We felt like we had our own little piece of isolated heaven. The cabin was nice and clean, great fire place and interior setup, and we had amazing adventures canoeing around all the islands on Burntside Lake. We would definitely come again and recommend it to everyone!"
