  • Family Vacation

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Deer Lake cabin! The large kitchen was a natural gathering spot for the family and there was plenty of space to branch out when we had a couple of rainy days. We found plenty of large serve-ware for our big group. The king-size bed in the master bedroom was heavenly, very comfortable. The teenage boys enjoyed having their own space in the basement with a separate entrance and the girls loved the bunk beds with privacy curtain. All the bedrooms had reading lights, perfect for snuggling in with a book before bed. With a hose set up right next to the campfire, and a shower outside behind the sauna, much of the work normally attributed to cabin-time was removed. Perfect for larger groups!"

  • Beautiful cabin, wonderful owners!!!

"We had an incredible time at the Devil Track Lake Cabin last weekend. The owners were really friendly and very helpful in recommending hiking and activities in the area. They even offered to shuttle us to the hike. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities that you could possibly need. The lake is gorgeous and they have a huge porch with a grill that we used to prepare our dinner with ingredients that we got from the local co-op (which I definitely recommend checking out). We will definitely be going back to this cabin again!"

  • Great location-Everything you need for a wonderful vacation!

"We spent 5 days with our son and his family, including our 3-year-old granddaughter! We had a wonderful family vacation that included time on the beach, time at Canal Park and other sightseeing in Duluth and time around the campfire and on the deck overlooking Lake Superior. The owners were very responsive, without being intrusive, and provided a great setting for our vacation. House was very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great place to stay in Duluth that takes advantage of the Lake Superior shoreline!"

  • Absolutely Superb!

"We rented the Log Home and Hilltop cabins for our "familymoon", including Grandparents, Kids, friends. We had such a great week on Crane Lake, and enjoyed immensely the Log home and Hilltop cabin. Both places are really great and well-kept. Thanks Gary!"
