"My husband and I just returned from Hidden Cove and we're already homesick. We've stayed on the North Shore in literally dozens of places and we've found it. Home. The views are 360 degrees, the home itself impeccable and, really, the best part was Sandi! The privacy cannot be beat, having your own beach cannot be beat. This property has been with their family since 1948 and you feel that settled the minute you arrive. Pictures don't do justice nor words. Hesitant to write this review because it's a hidden gem!"

  • Fantastic!!

"My family stayed at this cabin last summer. There were 15 of us and we were all able to stay comfortably with an additional air mattress downstairs. The cabin is spacious, clean, and beautiful inside and out. We have started a family tradition at Burns lake and we all look forward to returning in a couple weeks. Burns Lake cabin is great for kids! They can swim and fish off the dock, run in the yard, go on family hikes (sporting fancy and very exciting compass whistles provided by the cabin owners ), kayak, and see all kinds of wild life. All you need is bug spray, sunscreen, food, and family to have a great time. The lake is also big enough to tube and ski. Fall asleep to the sound of loons instead of other campers at this private and quiet oasis. A great price for the space! NOTE: There are stairs down to the lake so this could be an obstacle for those with disabilities."

  • Absolutely Perfect

"Booked this lakeside cabin for a 4 day girls' trip. Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place to stay. The five of us are experienced travelers, and we were truly impressed: Seamless booking, beautiful / comfortable / clean space, numerous amenities (including an extremely well stocked kitchen!), and obvious attention to detail. The placement of the cabin-- steps from the lake -- is is gorgeous, and the overall location of the cabin with it's proximity to hiking trails, restaurants and North Shore towns is ideal. Cannot recommend highly enough."

  • Spring Break Skiing

"Wow! What a treat to stay here. We had three families comfortably at Cedar Cliff for an extended ski weekend. Six adults and seven children all had plenty of space to socialize and not trip over each other. The kitchen was more appointed than we had anticipated -- great surprise! It was so easy to get comfy and not want to leave. The lakeshore location is breathtaking. Also, upon departure, a couple kids left items. :( Kathy was kind enough to send back a nerf gun that was sorely missed. Great service!!! We plan to return."
