"The condo was beautiful, had upgrades and open floor plan that makes a small group very comfortable. FULLY stocked kitchen essentials and more than enough linens. The setting was beautiful, close to the beach. Lovely facilities as well."

"Our last few vacations had consisted of schedules and a lot of hustle and bustle. We were looking for a week of relaxation and getting to know each other again. This was perfect. We chose to wake up when ever we felt like it. No schedules to keep. One morning we got up at 5:00 to get an early start on the fishing. It was worth it. We took the pontoon out at least twice a day. Everything in the house was what we expected. We felt at home right away. If you needed groceries or did not feel like cooking one day there are small stores close by or bigger towns that have everything you need. One evening we were coming back from Park Rapids. We were 10 miles out of town and saw a black bear run across the road. We have been to Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming and California and have not yet seen a bear in the wild. We saw plenty of dear, a couple of owls and of course the loons. With the loons it reminded me of the movie On Golden Pond and my son caught a large mouth bass that wasn't quite as big as Walter. My daughter tried to out do him with all the blue gill, crappie and the one bass she caught that was just a little bit smaller than his. We used the charcoal grill multiple times. We had a couple of afternoons where there was rain so we played cards. We used the Skip Bo set and other games that are in the house to pass the time. The house is 15 minutes away from Lake Itasca. We live on the Mississippi River in Iowa so it was neat to go see the headwaters and walk across it. We made sure every evening we took a casual boat ride on the lake just to enjoy the serenity. It was a great way to end each fun filled day. If my family and I ever decide to go back to Minnesota for this type of vacation we will come right back to here."

"My family and I stayed in this cabin for a week in August. The cabin is everything described on this site, and more. All in my party were amazed by the attention to detail put into this cabin by the owner. From the finishes of the cabin itself (all very Northwoods MN), to the extensive selection of cooking utensils, every detail has been accounted for, and I guarantee you will be pleased if you make the decision to book this property."

"This was our first stay at the cabin and we absolutely loved it! It had everything we needed available. Mike was very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us some great fishing tips on where to find the fish. The walleye fishing was awesome, even at this time of the year in July. The cabin is very beautiful inside and outside. It is close to Walker which is a fun town to visit. The lake was not overly crowded and the kids were able to try water skiing for the first time and loved it! We definitely plan to re-rent in the future."
