"Had a terrific experience for the week we stayed. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds were great, direct tv worked very well as did the Internet connection. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and condiments. Assortment of watercraft at our disposal. Only caught small sunfish, but did not fish very much. Had the lake to ourselves. A friend brought his boat, but the public access was too shallow, so we used one of the boats that came with the lodge instead. Graves Lake is nearby and an experienced fisherman there said Milton was a good crappie lake. Graves Lake has a good public access. In nearby Remer there is a well stocked supermarket, an excellent meat market across the street and a liquor store. No need to drive to Grand Rapids for these services. Our two Bulldogs loved exploring the property without having to be leashed. My wife really enjoyed the many walking trails on the property. Tony was great to work with. We communicated a few times by email. He was always quick to reply. I can't emphasize again how well stocked and furnished the lodge was!"

"We enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful home with our group of 4 adults and 3 kids under 4. The description indicates that this is a family friendly home, but we were still amazed at how true that statement is. The wrap around deck is kid-proofed and made for an enjoyable and stress free time for the parents. Our kids enjoyed playing with all the toys (inside and out) and my son loved the "tunnel bed" up in the loft.
The beach is perfect for a sunny afternoon and the beach toys kept our little ones busy. The play set got good use as well. If your kiddos want to catch sunnies off the dock- they're in for a treat! There are tons of little fish just waiting to be your child's first catch. Two of the kiddos caught their very first fish on this trip!
The setting is absolutely beautiful and this lake home feels like a resort without all the noise of neighboring vacationers.
I recommend the short drive to Dorset for some shopping and ice cream. The general store in Nevis is great for all the items you forgot to pack. We didn't explore much beyond that- the home was too good to leave!
We will be back!!"

"The Tree House was a perfect setting for our family get-together (Our selves, 2 sons/wives and 5 grandchildren, ages 5-11). A sink in each of the 5 bedrooms really made it convenient for everyone. The spacious deck made meal times memorable. Everyone enjoyed s"mores around the fire ring in the evenings. A playground next to the cabin, sandy beach, and the "Maui Mat"--what more could be asked? Renting the pontoon completed a fantastic lake experience for all. Thank you, Diane and Tom, for a relaxing and memorable vacation."

"We had a blast at this property which housed our extended family attending a wedding in Detroit Lakes. Plenty of room and sleeping space for everyone! Very well equipped kitchen (complete with a huge selection of spices, Tupperware, paper plates and garbage bags) Tons of dishes, pots & pans, ice maker and a large dining table. Deck furniture, camp fire pit, grill and tiki torches are fun for outdoor entertaining. Very relaxing and secluded, yet just a short driving distance to golf courses, dining, paved walking/bike paths and more. Thanks Russ & Cathy for everything!"
