  • Three weeks vacation on Big Man Trap. This was our second year to return from Nebraska.

"The area is a favorite with good bass fishing, Northern Pike are abundant and our biggest reason to Man Trap is the Musky fishing. We seen 10 and caught none. We have fished this lake for years and camped in very nice grounds. Cabin has been refreshing to retired visitors. It offered every amenity we wished for. Well Internet conections were a problem. Everything else was in great working conditionn clean, handy for disabled with no inclines to water. Few steps. The owners are impeccable that we have high regards for. We did our utmost to respect there property. Best regards Betty Allison"

  • The perfect place to stay!!

"My friends and I stayed her for a girls weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay AND a great price! The cabin has 2 bed rooms with 3 double or queen size beds so there was plenty of sleeping space. The cabin was clean (There is a $75 cleaning fee that didn't show up on the instant quote) and has a fully stocked kitchen and towels for guests to use. The owners are great and very accommodating! I was really impressed that they called and check in to make sure that we got to the cabin alright and we had everything we needed!! The cabin is right on the lake and has a dock. It is very quiet and peaceful. There is a fire pit right next to the lake which makes for a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. There is a canoe that guests can use. For those who want to explore surrounding areas, Itaska State Park is a 40 minute drive and Downtown Park Rapids is fun to walk around and look at the shops. My friends and I had a great time and are already planning our next stay here!"

  • Wonderful

"We really enjoyed our stay. The landscaping is beautiful. Love the up-to-date kitchen and decor of unit. Really enjoy all the dining seating area that we could all sit at one time and had room for more. We had plenty of room for our family of 15. The walk to the beach was not long. Everyone had fun on the water. Brought our own boat so nice area for knee boarding and wake boarding. Kids loved fishing off the dock. Hope to use this facility again as grandchildren were ready to return immediately. People were so accommodating."
