  • Summers at Is. Lake

"We spent 8/10 and 7-9/11 at this home and had a great time. Very peaceful location, nice neighbors pretty lake to boat around in, fishing is OK, Great to sit on deck and watch the lake and wildlife. Eagles, Osprey, Deer, Bear, and little animals. The home is very comfortable with all the needs of the renter. Spacious enouth for several couples, or families with teenagers.. Beautiful view from dinning tables. Very clean BRs and Baths. The walk to the lake is lots of steps but with rest spots if needed. Boats worked fine and any problems were taken care of immediatly."

  • Retreat Seekers

"Our first "family retreat" including married children! This property was a superb choice because it was spacious yet cozy. Beautiful grounds that offered plenty of adventure, as well as privacy! The disc golf, mowed trail, hammock and "man cave" were big favorites. There is so much to do in the area, Itasca State Park is amazing! Bemidji and Park Rapids are both very close, offering choices galore. The owners were was all wonderful. We will be back!"

  • South Dakota

"Just exactly what we were looking for. There were 8 us--2 grandparents--2 parents and 4 kids ages 5 through 11. Our visit was one week and we just had a great time. Set up croquet in front and used between times used balls in a boccee ball type game. Used bean bag toss in same area. Badmitten set up between house and garage. Had fires by the lake several nights and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed coffee and Bible reading down at lake in the early mornings. Used canoe several times rowing across and up inlet to another of the lakes. Kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming and also fishing in beach and dock area. Never had a need to leave lake to seek other adventure--we were perfectly content staying at home. Also really enjoyed the family area overlooking the lake. Will definitely plan a return visit."
