"Consider this actually a 4.5 rating. We had 5 adults and two toddlers. Plenty of room for all. The front porch was our favorite site, if we weren't on the bike trail, the nearby playground with the toddlers, or elsewhere. Like another reviewer noted - we did not have any issues with any of Minnesota's famous mosquitoes! Access to the large space in the garage for our bikes for overnight was wonderful. The patio between the house and garage was perfect for evening meals. The only reason it is not a "5" is that for our family with two toddlers, the Jacuzzi instead of a standard tub, made getting the kids in and out of the tub a bit tricky. (But THEY loved the big "tub"!) Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a nice clean fridge and stove. The beds were comfortable, and there was room in the closets to unpack and get things out of the way while we stayed. Very nice accommodations, but not super fancy. But, if you want that, find a place that will take more of your money! Owners stopped by to see if there was anything we needed, but did not hover or impose. I would recommend the Cyclin' Inn to friends and family."

"Our family gathered from 5 states in early May for a yearly celebration. Great house for any kind of get together. Very well stocked and organized, especially the kitchen. The cooks in our group loved being in the kitchen.
Plenty of outdoor activities minutes away, eagle watching was a hit. A natural paradise; trees leafing out, wildflowers starting to bloom, parks, biking trails, locals foraging wild mushrooms.
Or, you can just chill on the great south facing decks and soak it all in.
Cool historic river town of Red Wing just over the hill."

"My wife and I stayed at Joe's Bluff top home for three days this July, it was perfect! its not very often when you go on a vacation and the place you've booked to stay at becomes the highlight of the trip... this was one of those occasions. My family and I have been coming down to the lake Pepin area for 20+ years, usually in the fall, and we have stayed in many places over those years... the search is over now though, this is far and away the best! secluded and quiet, large beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds, big bathroom, a very relaxing living room with "the view" as soon as we walked in we saw the view that looked out over the lake and the bluffs and we were absolutely stunned! it was also a great vantage point to watch the huge storm that rolled in over the weekend, although my wife was not quite as enthused about that as I was, can't wait to enjoy that view in the Autumn with the fall colors blazing. Joe was a very good host too, was quick to answer any questions we had, even offered to take us sailing on his boat, at one point there was apparently an issue with the air conditioning, which was essential as the temps were in the 90's, before we had even noticed anything was wrong he contacted me and informed us that he and a AC repairman would like to stop by and fix it if the timing was good for us, talk about attentive! anyway, my wife and I were very happy and would highly recommend Joe's bluff house, we will most definitely be back... soon and often! Thank you Joe!"
