"The Vintage cottage was a wonderful spot for our family of 4 celebrating my husband's birthday. From the board games to the fully stocked kitchen, it felt as though all of our needs were anticipated. The view of the lake is perfect. The only drawback is the fact that the only bathroom is located on the first level and the bedrooms are upstairs and, because the house is over 100 years old, the staircase is very steep. As such, seniors or anyone with knee issues may have some difficulty. Otherwise, I highly recommend this beautiful property."

"This was our second stay at the cabin and certainly will not be our last. The cabin is wonderful and has everything you need. Lake City is a five minute drive away for any essentials you forgot. It was unseasonably cool the first two days of our stay but the living room has floor to ceiling windows so we enjoyed the river and bluff views from the cozy living room. We even saw a few eagles and hawks dive into the water and catch fish! The neighborhood is quiet and safe which is something my husband and I value. The water was high when we were there so we didn't have a beach but the water lapping up against the retaining wall was the next best thing. Boat traffic is minimal which made our canoe trips enjoyable. There is a state park trail just a mile or so down the road that we hiked several times. The owners are easy to work with and accommodating. We spent some time in Red Wing on a rainy day. If you visit, you should stop at the Whistle Stop cafe in Frontenac. It is the quintessential very small town cafe. Nothing fancy but a fun way to support the local economy."

"We stayed here with my parents and my young children. We loved the home. It was a lovely, cozy, clean home and was stocked with everything we could have needed. The jacuzzi bathtubs in both of the upstairs bedrooms were a real treat and a very nice touch.
The house is really just a hop, skip and a jump away from the waterfront and the view of the river is gorgeous. You are just a short walk from all the shops and restaurants in town.
Greg was very helpful and friendly. We'd be more than happy to stay there again. The house made our vacation a great one."

"My husband and I needed a mini vacation so we decided to look for a place to stay along the river.
We found the Striking Lofts, they looked beautiful so we booked the space. The loft was more beautiful in person than online. It is gorgeous!! Located on the top floor in an old building in downtown Wabasha. There is a full kitchen, two bedrooms on opposite ends of the loft, each bedroom has its own bathroom.
The loft is located just about a block away from the National Eagle Center. We spent the entire day there, it was incredible. We spent the evening walking through this quaint, serene little town. We also sat on a bench along the river under the stars. I can't say enough about this property and this town.
We will be back for sure!! Holly, thank you for everything!! The picture I attached is the amazing view from the bedroom on the east side of the bldg. Breathtaking!!"
