"Our family had a great weekend at the Cyclin Inn. The setting was beautiful and restful and "away from it all", but close enough to have plenty of adventures in the area. And while we enjoyed the area attractions, we all found the house to be one of the favorite parts of our getaway. My teenager daughter and friend loved the neighboring ponies and goats while my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the front porch, listening to the birds and watching the bikes glide by."

"We had 6 adults and found this place to be more than we had expected. It is spacious, clean and well maintained. Dan gave us a little history of the place as it had belonged to his wife growing up.
It is right across the street from the lake and beach area with benches to sit and enjoy the view. We took the 70ish mile view around the lake. What a beautiful area of Minnesota.
There are many wineries and breweries to visit if you like that sort of thing. We enjoyed many of them. The best burger I have ever had was at the Railhouse Grill" check it out. It was juicy and flavorful. reads landing is another great grill to eat at.
The Riverboat down the way was also enjoyed by all. Bar and snacks on board for an 1.5 hour ride with beautiful views.
Dan the owner was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. You will enjoy your stay I am sure of it.
If we come back this way again we will stay here. It is one of the few that are closest to the lake and it met our needs more than expected."

"This house/cabin is a great choice for a smaller family to enjoy the sights, sounds, unique dining and entertainment in the Brownsville area. As many of the other reviews suggest, the house is very clean and well equipped. The owner, Dan, was fantastic too. I like the boat idea someone else suggested but, for us, just a boat dock would do the trick. :-)"

"We had a wonderful time. The lodge is beautiful with all the comforts of home. There were 12 of us who stayed with no issue, we brought one air bed, but the bedrooms can easily each have one. The craft building worked out excellent, we made jewelry in honor of my daughter all weekend. Found the bike / walking trail a nice break and a little exercise. The whole area is beautiful. Becky was very nice and everything was as described, she also answered all questions ahead of time. They have recycling and garbage bins on the deck, kitchen facilities are great. Everyone had a fun weekend. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. My only suggestion would be to put a light on the sign so it is easier to see at night, we told people to watch for the solar lights on the deck."
