"My wife and I stayed at Joe's Bluff top home for three days this July, it was perfect! its not very often when you go on a vacation and the place you've booked to stay at becomes the highlight of the trip... this was one of those occasions. My family and I have been coming down to the lake Pepin area for 20+ years, usually in the fall, and we have stayed in many places over those years... the search is over now though, this is far and away the best! secluded and quiet, large beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds, big bathroom, a very relaxing living room with "the view" as soon as we walked in we saw the view that looked out over the lake and the bluffs and we were absolutely stunned! it was also a great vantage point to watch the huge storm that rolled in over the weekend, although my wife was not quite as enthused about that as I was, can't wait to enjoy that view in the Autumn with the fall colors blazing. Joe was a very good host too, was quick to answer any questions we had, even offered to take us sailing on his boat, at one point there was apparently an issue with the air conditioning, which was essential as the temps were in the 90's, before we had even noticed anything was wrong he contacted me and informed us that he and a AC repairman would like to stop by and fix it if the timing was good for us, talk about attentive! anyway, my wife and I were very happy and would highly recommend Joe's bluff house, we will most definitely be back... soon and often! Thank you Joe!"

"We were in the area for a wedding and this house was the perfect place for us. We did not spend much time at the house, but loved that we could have breakfast together before the business of the day started. We would defiantly stay here again! It was much better than a hotel where we would not have been able to visit as comfortably."

"We stayed here with several adults and 7 children and had a wonderful time. There are definitely fish to be caught off the dock and swimming to do, though as someone else mentioned water shoes are a must, really almost everywhere around this area as it's mostly rocky shore. The cabin is clean and well stocked; the kitchen in particular has more "stuff" in it than usual, including knives that work and spices/sugar. There isn't much around the area for groceries though, so whatever you want to have with you, you should bring.
We rented a pontoon boat from Pine Point Lodge and the owners Jeff and Cathy were great; they gave us a map marked with all the places to check out including several little beaches that were tucked away and a lot of fun to explore, and were just a couple minute boat ride away when we needed bait (or realized we forgot toothbrushes).
There is another cabin right next door, and if there are people there you will be sharing the dock area with them. Our "neighbors" were very nice, and it's no big deal, but maybe good to know that you will be in close proximity to other people if that cabin is rented.
One other small thing to note; there is Wi-Fi, but when I tried to use it I got a message saying that it had all been used for the month. Obviously one isn't there for the Wi-Fi-, but as I was planning to download my book onto my iPad once I go there, that was kind of a bummer. Take care of any important online tasks before you get there.
The area is remote and really beautiful. Most of the places we went we had to ourselves. We absolutely loved it, and will be back."

"We were lucky enough to land this great spot in Stillwater, just blocks up from downtown and the water front. As soon as we entered the condo, the view shining through the sliding glass doors caught our eye. We automatically set out bags down and sat on the deck for hours enjoying the magnificent views. The amenities of the condo met our expectations and more. Everything was very clean and was perfect for what we were looking for our weekend getaway. The owner was readily available if we needed anything and was able to provide suggestions of restaurants. We will be definitely returning back to this beautiful condo to enjoy Stillwater sometime soon."
