  • Wonderful home where memories are made!

"This was a great home to make memorable memories for the whole family. There is the view of the bay, the fishing and crabbing pier, the wonderful sunsets, bikes available, board games for all ages, the roomy yard for the little ones to play in, and the front and back screened porches to sit on and enjoy the view. The home is very well equipped with everything we needed and the owners were delightful to meet and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our month there and hope to return again."

  • The mattresses were terrible.

"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was lovely except the mattresses made sleeping unbearable. My two daughters chose to sleep on the couches (one was a love seat) rather than each taking their own bedrooms. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was horrible. The other two rooms had two beds each. One bed actually fell apart and the others were so uncomfortable I would never stay here again. It is a shame, as the property was very clean, well kept (other than a few broken hinges on the cabinets) and in a great location. The upstairs porch was very nice but I would suggest some cover."

  • Charming Cottage Nestled in Historic Natchez

"This very charming cottage is nestled in historic old Natchez. An easy walk through period homes takes you downtown. We found the cottage to be spacious and very comfortable. It is down a long gravel drive so you are away from the street and there is not much traffic in that section of town anyway. We saw deer and foxes in the adjoining forrest but were not at all bothered. We had a car and found the location to be a great base to explore the Natchez Trace, Civil War re-enactment at Jefferson College, Vicksburg Battlefield and many plantation homes in Louisiana and Mississippi. Britton and her husband were very welcoming and helpful, with great suggestions for local restaurants and attractions. Best of all she made delicious cookies and farm fresh eggs from the real chicken coop across the yard, and no they did not crow at the crack of dawn."

  • Beautiful Bayou View and AWESOME back porch!

"8 of us stayed here and there was plenty of room. The couch provides plenty of seating, though we didn't stay inside much. The living quarters are upstairs, with great views from the bedrooms and living room. There is a foosball table in a covered area downstairs. There are a few very minor things in the house that could use some minor repairs but nothing that interferes with the stay there. We were a little bummed that the hot tub isn't used in the summer time. We would have liked to have sat in it in the evenings. The dining table only seats 4 but there is another 4 seat table on the porch and we used chairs from that to put around the other table to play games one night. The house is very clean. The back balcony porch is AWESOME!! It is a huge porch with plenty of nice sitting areas and rugs and has a large fan, as well as ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors that open up to the balcony porch. The pier is well built and we spent a lot of time on it, both day and night. It is literally only 10 steps from the back of the house. Only caught a few fish and accidentally caught an alligator. Got him to the pier, thinking it was a huge fish. Thankfully, he bit the line in two and got away!! There is only one full time resident and that is at the house next door (nice people). If you stay here, go three piers down at night and watch the large gar fish in the two green lights that are under the water. We brought a boat and the bayou is nice for boating. We also enjoyed watching other boats and people skiing. The paddle boat was fun for the kids, as was the kayak that is there. There is a freezer downstairs that you can keep your bait in. There are a couple of radios that can be used. It is more than what is listed in this ad. The yard is well taken care of. Close to everything but you don't know it when you are is VERY peaceful and quiet. Walmart only about 5 minutes away. The beach and restaurants aren't far either. I like the beach but I liked being at this house better. I never actually went to the beach on this trip. Pick this property and you have made a great choice!"
