  • Restful and quiet

"The perfect home away from home. Every need and want was anticipated. We had plenty of room for four adults. The refrigerator was stalked for breakfast and all kind of snacks were provided. Extremely comfortable and was a welcomed place to return to after days of sight seeing. The view of the Mississippi River were great.. Carol was so sweet to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Chloe (the border collie) was an added pleasure, she loved to play Frisbee. I would definitely recommend the Blueberry Hill River cottage. It is an absolutely perfect place to stay."

  • Delightful and Super Convenient in Natchez

"We stayed at the Chicken Coop with our two children. As promised, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The home itself was comfortable, spotless, charming and roomy -- just like the photos. We loved our fresh eggs and brought home groceries to make dinner one night too. The location was perfect. We walked easily to all the downtown historic sights. It was a short drive to the homes on outskirts of town and to the supermarket. Natchez is a fascinating destination with a rich history that comes to life through guided visits at places like Longwood, the African American Art Museum and the synagogue. Don't miss the photo exhibit in the Presbyterian Church."

"The home met all our needs. There were 10 adults. Everyone had a blast and hope to return in the near future. The big round table was a big hit while playing cards. Natchez is a beautiful place to visit."

  • Wonderful Stay at Oakwood, 2015

"Four of us on a lovely "girls' trip" weekend stayed at Oakwood and absolutely loved it! It is just as pictured, and we loved the house and the location. It was a perfect place to stay for our first trip to Natchez, and we will definitely stay here again if we get to return in the future. The house has been lovingly restored, and the accommodations are so comfortable. Beautiful setting, and the story behind the restoration is very interesting. We would definitely recommend this property!"
