  • Perfect....!!!

"My daughter, myself and some of her friends enjoyed a fun, relaxing weekend at your beautiful, clean, very well-stocked condo. Plenty of room for everybody and yet cozy enough for us to all be together. Walked across blvd to the the beach. Short, inexpensive taxi ride to Hard Rock. Owners were friendly and helpful from the time of booking through check-out. Gorgeous weather topped it off. So thankful we found your place! Simply perfect! I would definitely stay again and absolutely recommend this condo. Thank you!"

  • group leader

"This was/is the property our group has been looking for to hold our annual fraternity reunion. Four couples each with there own bathroom was perfect. The drive to Oxford and Ole Miss was very easy. We were able to utilize the wonderful kitchen facilities and the setting in the forest provided a very relaxed setting to rekindle our old friendships with our fraternity brothers. Loved the whole experience"

  • GORGEOUS, PEACEFUL, A SPECIAL PLACE

"The cottage Was beyond our expectations. We travelled all the way from australia and this by far was the best place we stayed. It was larger than we expected. The decor was just gorgeous! I have so much inspiration to redecorate our home. The view was fantastic. There was every single thing we needed in the cottage. It was like being in our home as we needed or wanted for nothing. The fridge was stocked with goodies and bacon and eggs ect for breakfast. There were books on history about the area and also just fiction books in general to read. Its an ideal getaway for a couple. Carol was so lovely and its a shame we were all so tired from travelling to take up thier offer to join them for beers and bbq around thier fire on their porch. We didnt want to leave!! We had big plans to go do some sight seeing but we only did half a day of what was supposed to be 2 days of activities, the rest was spent in the cottage looking at the boats along the river (especially at night), reading, watching tv, cooking and just unwinding. If we return to America and are in the area we will definitly be booking in here!"

  • Loved this place!

"We have rented this home twice, including the cottage on one occasion. We love this place. Good location, close to downtown area and beach. Will definitely rent again. The beds are super comfortable....great mattresses. That is important to us. Owner so easy to work with and response to any issue is timely. There is nothing negative to say about this vrbo. If I could have one alteration, it would be to have foliage around driveway cut back a bit....is a bit hard getting into and out of large vehicles. But still absolutely love this place."

Mississippi Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Visit Mississippi

Mississippi enjoys a long summer and relatively short winter. This makes it a popular summer vacation destination. While most people still tend to travel during the peak holiday season of July and August, the longer summer season means that you can still enjoy good weather outside of peak season. In the summer months, the temperatures average around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month is traditionally July. During the winter months, the temperatures average 48 degrees Fahrenheit, with the coldest month being January. The northern interior is generally more temperate that the coastal areas. Occasional snowfalls are not uncommon in the central and northern parts; however, it is seldom significant amounts and it usually quickly melts away. Most of the rainfall occurs during the summer months in the form of short-lived but dramatic thunderstorms. The Gulf Coast is particularly prone to hurricanes that blow across the Gulf of Mexico in the late summer and early fall months. The interior of the state usually gets the dregs of the tropical storms which results in heavy rainfall.

Music Legends at Mississippi Condos

Mississippi has a rich cultural heritage. Like its neighboring states, it has a strong music tradition with the signature music style being the Blues. In Clarksdale, you will find the Delta Blues Museum where you can see memorabilia and photographs of some of the great Blues legends. There are also numerous Blues Bars across the state where you can hear your favorite tune. Tupelo, which is in northeast Mississippi, is the birthplace of Elvis Presley. Here, you can tour his childhood home which is a humble two-room house. Next door is a museum which contains many different memorabilia items that detail his life. You can also take a stroll through town and see the fairgrounds where he performed early in his career or the hardware store where he bought his first guitar. For country music fans, you can visit Meridian which is the hometown of Jimmy Rogers. The Jimmy Rogers Museum in town pays tribute to this country music legend.

Visitors to Mississippi

Mississippi is a state that attracts a diverse range of visitors. Many come to visit the museums attributed to music legends but the state has much more to offer. It has a rich historical heritage with many museums. There are also many excellent golf courses where golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a round. The natural attractions are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts that enjoy hiking, mountain biking or RV-ing.
