  • Great Town-home!

"We had a great time staying at this town-home in Biloxi. It was very clean and accommodating. The location is great too, walking distance to two casinos and the beach. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Biloxi."

  • Beautiful Bayou View and AWESOME back porch!

"8 of us stayed here and there was plenty of room. The couch provides plenty of seating, though we didn't stay inside much. The living quarters are upstairs, with great views from the bedrooms and living room. There is a foosball table in a covered area downstairs. There are a few very minor things in the house that could use some minor repairs but nothing that interferes with the stay there. We were a little bummed that the hot tub isn't used in the summer time. We would have liked to have sat in it in the evenings. The dining table only seats 4 but there is another 4 seat table on the porch and we used chairs from that to put around the other table to play games one night. The house is very clean. The back balcony porch is AWESOME!! It is a huge porch with plenty of nice sitting areas and rugs and has a large fan, as well as ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors that open up to the balcony porch. The pier is well built and we spent a lot of time on it, both day and night. It is literally only 10 steps from the back of the house. Only caught a few fish and accidentally caught an alligator. Got him to the pier, thinking it was a huge fish. Thankfully, he bit the line in two and got away!! There is only one full time resident and that is at the house next door (nice people). If you stay here, go three piers down at night and watch the large gar fish in the two green lights that are under the water. We brought a boat and the bayou is nice for boating. We also enjoyed watching other boats and people skiing. The paddle boat was fun for the kids, as was the kayak that is there. There is a freezer downstairs that you can keep your bait in. There are a couple of radios that can be used. It is more than what is listed in this ad. The yard is well taken care of. Close to everything but you don't know it when you are there...it is VERY peaceful and quiet. Walmart only about 5 minutes away. The beach and restaurants aren't far either. I like the beach but I liked being at this house better. I never actually went to the beach on this trip. Pick this property and you have made a great choice!"

  • Spectacular View

"We had a great time in Biloxi. The condo was in a perfect location - on the beach, close to everything. It was clean (super clean), well equipped (towels, blankets, kitchen - had everything). The owners are so responsive and thought of everything. I would definitely stay there again. Had a GREAT time - thank you so much."

  • Wonderful Getaway

"My husband & I along with our son & 2 of his friends just returned from an extended weekend at The Ryan House. Everything was just as described and we were very pleased. So close to the beach, restaurants, the pier and shopping. Very relaxing and comfortable accommodations. Will definitely keep The Ryan House in mind for the next mom & sister getaway."

Mississippi Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Visit Mississippi

Mississippi enjoys a long summer and relatively short winter. This makes it a popular summer vacation destination. While most people still tend to travel during the peak holiday season of July and August, the longer summer season means that you can still enjoy good weather outside of peak season. In the summer months, the temperatures average around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month is traditionally July. During the winter months, the temperatures average 48 degrees Fahrenheit, with the coldest month being January. The northern interior is generally more temperate that the coastal areas. Occasional snowfalls are not uncommon in the central and northern parts; however, it is seldom significant amounts and it usually quickly melts away. Most of the rainfall occurs during the summer months in the form of short-lived but dramatic thunderstorms. The Gulf Coast is particularly prone to hurricanes that blow across the Gulf of Mexico in the late summer and early fall months. The interior of the state usually gets the dregs of the tropical storms which results in heavy rainfall.

Music Legends at Mississippi Condos

Mississippi has a rich cultural heritage. Like its neighboring states, it has a strong music tradition with the signature music style being the Blues. In Clarksdale, you will find the Delta Blues Museum where you can see memorabilia and photographs of some of the great Blues legends. There are also numerous Blues Bars across the state where you can hear your favorite tune. Tupelo, which is in northeast Mississippi, is the birthplace of Elvis Presley. Here, you can tour his childhood home which is a humble two-room house. Next door is a museum which contains many different memorabilia items that detail his life. You can also take a stroll through town and see the fairgrounds where he performed early in his career or the hardware store where he bought his first guitar. For country music fans, you can visit Meridian which is the hometown of Jimmy Rogers. The Jimmy Rogers Museum in town pays tribute to this country music legend.

Visitors to Mississippi

Mississippi is a state that attracts a diverse range of visitors. Many come to visit the museums attributed to music legends but the state has much more to offer. It has a rich historical heritage with many museums. There are also many excellent golf courses where golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a round. The natural attractions are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts that enjoy hiking, mountain biking or RV-ing.
